  1. Good tacky rubber to use unboosted on forehand?

I heard exactly the opposite. And he surely's not the only one to say so.
  2. First Bat Advice please

That´s not a beginner setup especially not the composite blade! May i ask how long you and you´re friend have been playing? I works like a dream... [Emoji2]
  3. Save the Rainforest

Well, i was being silly by getting carried away by my emotions. That shouldn't happen. It's not a way how grown ups should discuss, no matter what. Therefore i must apologise for that. So @richrf, if you got something productive to bring to the table i'm all ears.
  4. Save the Rainforest

I guess you're right, and maybe i shouldn't let myself be triggered so easily. Sometimes it's just too hard to resist. At one point i wasn't even sure if i was argueing with a human or with a bot... It probably won't make any difference, but maybe just one more statement to my defense: Anyone...
  5. China Super League 2017

Not sure if this counts as source of proper information, but if you take a look at ProTT's website, you can see all kind of different H3 BH rubbers...
  6. A Better Rubber for Spin+Speed?

Sorry for taking this out of context, but i think THESE are the key words. You've nailed it there. [Emoji2] Thanks
  7. DHS NEO vs non NEO

I would have to disagree. From my experience this isn't really true, it's NOT JUST A GLUE LAYER The booster IS in the glue (just like when you boost yourself). It' s got that stickey-ickey-ickey. [Emoji6] However this can not be compared to the factory tuning of Tensors® and the rubber is only...
  8. Steffen Mengel completely freaks out!

Makes me sometimes wonder if they are actually human. Imagine the craziest rally ever possible. Most umps i've seen won't even show any kind of emotion. No smile, no grin, nothing, nada, nada, nada, not a frown, nothing. Zilch.
  9. Steffen Mengel completely freaks out!

Whoa, this time he was losing it really. Kuba must have played really well. You can see the umpire surprised and frightened. Hopefully no one got hurt.
  10. A Better Rubber for Spin+Speed?

I guess we can agree to disagree then. But pls don´t put something in my mouth i haven´t wrote... If you read my post carefully you will find that i wrote "not thinner than 2.0" I didn´t write "max only"... But nevertheless, i don´t see much sense using 1.7mm to teach a modern spin game, but...
  11. Novelty Table Tennis Christmas present

Have you seen this here already? Seems to be even a bit cheaper than your Budget...
  12. A Better Rubber for Spin+Speed?

Guys, did you properly read OP post? As Fabian and others have written before, it seems to me that your issues are rather technique related than anything else. The bluefire series itself is actually quite spinny, so if you say you can´t get enough spin then it must be because your strokes...
  13. A Better Rubber for Spin+Speed?

There are different philosophies about this, so i will not argue. Even some coaches over here recommend starting out with high-end rubbers like mxp, t80, t05 etc. and i even see one point in doing so. Once the player develops he could still use the same rubber just in different sponge thickness...
  14. Table Tennis Manager - the online game

Dick is also a german word meaning chubby, fat, thick...
  15. A Better Rubber for Spin+Speed?

MXP is NO beginner's rubber, yogi. I would rather recommend MarkV on a middle of the road All+ blade and learn proper looping first. If you need more spin and speed learn body usage (hips, legs) and see how easy it is generating proper spin and speed without having to sacrifice lack of control...
  16. Chinese Pro Equipment - Rubbers and Blades

    I think i can help here. See the 'IX' is the roman way of writing the number 9. Just like I.phone X is I.phone 10 Or even better Rakza X is Rakza 10 I = 1 II = 2 III = 3 IV = 4 V = 5 VI = 6 VII = 7 VIII = 8 IX = 9 X = 10 [Emoji6]
  17. Hinoki deeper study

As you can see from my second comment my post was mostly directed towards Bob, but if the shoe fits then might as well wear it. Hinoki is a very polarizing material. It's a love it or hate it thing. My job is certainly not to convince you and make you love it. I guess if it benefits your game...
  18. Hinoki deeper study

Errr... did you fully read (and more importantly: did you also understand) OP's post? No offence. I'm asking because a blade with a Hinoki top ply and inner plies from different wood types will feel quite different compared to an all Hinoki blade. To really be able to tell HOW Hinoki feels you...
  19. Hinoki deeper study

Ok, let´s play a game then: How would one call judging over something without knowing about it or in this case without having played with it? Bingo! The answer is correct. The word we´ve been looking for is: PREJUDICE 200 pts. each for our candidates. [Emoji2]
  20. Share your Racket's Photo

Thank you. Seems to be pretty universal. It's used in def blades as well as in off ones. On the other hand it never seems to be used as top- or coreply. Interesting... Unfortunately i've never played with one of the listed blades. One of my teammates used to play a Donic blade from the burn...
