  1. Chinese Pro Equipment - Rubbers and Blades

Here's a golden rule: Only change one thing at a time. Never both. How would you be able to compare rubbers with no constant and only variables. Hard to tell what makes the difference then. So just glue up the new rubber to your old blade and see how it feels. The tenergy sponge is considered...
  2. Changing from shakehand to penhold(blade change)

Thanks a lot. Good one. I didn't think of He Zhi Wen. You guys are probably right though The HH 2 is probably also good idea. A 7ply made be a little stiff for a beginner who is developing. Maybe i should be looking for a 5ply.
  3. FS//: Butterfly Viscaria with T05 2.1 both sides

Much thanks for your reply. [Emoji2] I was a little worried. Don't be too harsh on yourself. Many shakehand players have a favourite side as well. Maybe a heap of changepoint drills with balls played to your elbow and to your hip could be helpful a bit, but i guess your coach knows that already...

  5. FS//: Butterfly Viscaria with T05 2.1 both sides

Pricey, just out of curiousity: what happened to your shakehand experiment? Did you just change your equipment or did you give up on it? Hope you didn't stop playing at all though.
  6. Changing from shakehand to penhold(blade change)

Sounds good. Isn't there a non signature blade equivalent? (Like Hurricane Long 2 -> PG7) The HH II isn't a cheap blade. I'm his clubmate, not his father.... [Emoji23] maybe for christmas though...
  7. Changing from shakehand to penhold(blade change)

Hahaha. Good point. [Emoji106] Thanks a lot. That was exactly what i was looking for. Another great post, mate. Thanks. How does it feel. I believe it's rated quite fast. I'll probably start with something more basic like the pg-7 or maybe even a 5-ply blade. At the moment he uses something...
  8. Changing from shakehand to penhold(blade change)

Hey guys, sorry for playing the necromancer, but i have a question and didn't find a thread that could help me. So maybe you guys have an idea. Here's the thing: We have a young guy aged about nineteen who started playing TT for about a year and changed to penhold a couple of months ago after...
  9. Fair handicap for men and women?

This really might be your personal view based on your experience, but i think Gangarth's post got burried a little. Maybe because of language barrier, so maybe i can explain others what it's about. It is about the stereotype male sexist remark that men that don't even play on a very high level...
  10. Which song(s) do you listen to before matchplay??

Now on hot rotation on my playlist.
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Sounds awesome. I think i know what you mean. Baal really can chase one around the table. [Emoji2] So much fun playing with him. Hope i get to play him soon again, but probably not before next summer. :( ;) But my friend should show up in the next time and hopefully gonna represent some...
  12. Polish Open 2017

There must be some kind of mistake here. Duda's made it to the semi's and is gonna face Kaii Yoshida...
  13. DHS hurricane 3 national rubber authenticity

Hard to tell from the photos. The colour difference looks like caused by different lighting. Do you still have the topsheet protection foil? There is a little badge on it. When scratched the badge shows a code you can type on DHS website to check if your gear is genuine.
  14. New Tenergy Rubbers! Tenergy 05N and Tenergy 09C

You´re right, but this could be a mistake. I found Hurricane III twice. One says Hurricane III the other 108 Hurricane III and then there is a Hurricane without any number and the most interesting thing: There is a Hurricane 9 listed too!! [Emoji15]
  15. Which is the best blade for chinese rubber?

    Golden Tango

The JOOLA Golden Tango is "Made in Germany", combining the advantages of a tacky upper rubber, usually characteristic of Chinese rubbers, with the enormous elasticity and speed of a Tensor sponge. This interaction results in a completely new sensation. The tacky surface offers maximum grip thus...

  20. New Equipment 2017

I just could get my hands on joola's latest product the Golden Tango. I've got it slightly used (not more than a few minutes) from a friend who said that it was not his cup of tea. Here's the product describtion from contra.de...
