  1. British League 2016/2017

I'm part of the Cardiff City TTC team and just wanted to say it is really exciting to be involved in an up and coming league making steps to becoming a truly professional league. The standard is rising each season hopefully soon more of the world's best players will be enticed to Britain. Here...
  2. New Rule Approved! Coaching Between Points 2016!

It's simply a way to inject a little bit more atmosphere into the games. No more silent games that are boring to play and boring to watch. Doesn't need to be too complicated and my guess is not much will change anyway. Coaches are already shouting encouragement from the side. A good coach will...
  3. TableTennisDaily sponsors team in British League

I think I agree with this. The British League is weak in comparison to most other European leagues. However, the standard is rising rapidly. I think within a few more seasons the standard will increase dramatically. The league is undergoing a massive transformation at the moment with an...
  4. Top 10 annoying situations every table tennis player has encountered!

When you are knocking with someone that doesn't pick up the balls. Grinds my gears!!! :@
  5. Two types of backhand flick

I think the top players don't just do one they do both. Although they are different techniques they are just two ends of a spectrum. The more backspin is on the ball the more side-spin you need to put on the ball to get it over the net. Chiquita...
  6. Win a signed t-shirt by Ma Long and Fan Zhendong!

I think Fan Zhendong will win the Men's cup
  7. G40+

3 out of 5 rating for G40+ I was excited to try these balls because butterfly were claiming that the ball was going to be the answer we've been waiting for. The ball is an improvement on most others however it is very mild. They do seem to be more consistently round but they are quite light and...

  9. Practice play and game play so far apart!

There is some great knowledge here on tabletennisdaily. Dan's article is a good read and could help you understand a bit more about skill learning and transfer. Here is another article on icoachtabletennis.com that is on a similar topic. http://www.icoachtabletennis.com/learningvsperformance/...
  10. Coppa X3

3 out of 5 rating for Coppa X3 I've been using this rubber on a coaching bat I put together on my backhand side. It has decent control but is extremely soft which is not to my taste really. I'll keep using it as it is only a coaching bat. But would not like to use it for competition.
  11. 3 star 40+

4 out of 5 rating for 3 star 40+ This is the best plastic ball on the market at the moment. I have used Butterfly, Joola, Stiga ,etc and this is the most consistent overall. There is not too much variability between balls. Definitely would recommend them over the other balls.

  16. Sriver G3 FX

3 out of 5 rating for Sriver G3 FX I acquired this rubber and used for a short amount of time out of necessity when no others were available to me. It did a solid job on my backhand side but was much to slow for me. It was easily controllable and produced a fair amount of spin. I would...

  18. Tenergy 05

5 out of 5 rating for Tenergy 05 This rubber is the type of rubber that if you use once you're hooked. It's well balanced and flexible and reasonably forgiving. It's also durable. This is the defining rubber of the post speed glue era. I am interested to see if it will hold up it's reputation...
  19. Hybrid wood nct

4 out of 5 rating for Hybrid Wood NCT I tried the blade out for a few months second hand and it did a great job for me after my boll spirit broke. It is extremely fast but with the controlability that comes with wood blades. I found that the wood surface would come away and split easily when...
