  1. if you are winning 10-0....

I hate the consensus view every time this topic comes up. It is way more humiliating and disrespectful to give someone a point. You are compounding two problems by doing so: you are making it even more clear that your opponent is unable to earn a single point on their own merit and second...
  2. Ma Long at his peak will be scary!

Lets see if he can even match WLQ in domination first.
  3. Most consistent player

I put SAmsanov and Boll. Samsanov for his natural tendency to favor stability in a rally and Boll for his relatively low amount of unforced errors.
  4. Olympics 2012

I put Ma Long but I think any other CHinese players sent to the 2012 games will have their fair shot as well.
  5. ma lin or wang liquin?

Ma Lin is much more unique and contributed more to the sport than WLQ, who is just another prototype on the Chinese development path for shakehand power player. I think Ma Lin has also aged better than WLQ. Ma Lin lost the athletic side of his game long ago, maybe even as early as 2003 is when...
  6. Evidence the Pro's are boosting!

That rubber definately looks boosted, not because of the wavy surface, which can happen if water glue is applied unevenly, but because of the outer edge of the rubber curving upwards, meaning the rubber has some sort of big dome and thus sponge expansion. Maze's Bryce Speed is also clearly much...
  7. Ma long Rubbers?

His powerful stroke comes from his technique. His racket is close to pretty much what the rest of the China men's team uses...mid fast type blades with DHS on front and Tenergy on back.
  8. Wang Hao Wins 45.000 US Dollars

He deserves whatever the market can support for a TT World Cup winner. If the market can support $45K then that is appropriate. This is one thing where passion from smaller numbers cannot make up for the broader popularity of a sport.
  9. reglue

I don't think there is any reason to reglue these new rubbers over again, if anything regluing will probably release some of the tension in the rubber since when you take the rubber off Tenergy has been known to shrink a bit. When you glue it back on it will be smaller.
  10. Dimitrij Ovtcharov being banned for 2 years from doping.... your thoughts on this?

No, that was his explaination of how he could have possibly gotten it into his system.
  11. Schlager

He is close to my favorite player. He is definitely one of the smartest European players at the table.
  12. best player

Waldner, easily. He competed at the very top level against 3 waves of generations.
  13. Is Kenta starting to find his form after the Hungarian Open 2010?

Kenta is not that good and I feel that I made the right call on him after his big performance against Ma Lin a long while ago. Its clear they've worked on him since then and tried to improve a few weak spots especially asserting himself offensively but I still think he will peak in the WR 10-20...
  14. Whos your favourite player currently, and a why?

Kreanga is my favorite player because is is the most entertaining to watch but also because at the peak of his career he always got really far in touraments but rarely won, so every time watching was like "will this be the time Kreanga finally makes it to a big time final???". Sadly the answer...
  15. Totally,Which ball do you think is the best?

The best ball I ever tried wasn't even mine. It was someone else's and after hitting with it I had to look at what it was. It was a Stiga Optimum. On the cheap/value side I like 729 3star. I have found those to have the best durability amongst cheap 3 star balls.
  16. Timo Boll Spirit

TBS is perfect for you and for beginners in general who make a long term commitment to the sport and are willing to buy a racket of that quality. It is great because it can service a wide range of play styles. Its slow for the spin and smash types, and fast for the allround game but everything...
  17. What Is Your Favourite Table Tennis Rubber Of All Time?

Bryce with speed glue was the best.
  18. Yasaka & butterfly?

I voted bad. This was one of the first rubbers I tried post glue ban, but I guess it also depends on what your backhand is like. For me, I like a lot of spin on the backhand to use on the push and this rubber just doesnt have enough spin. The trajectory is also flat due to the lack of spin...
  19. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

    Xiom Strato ST FH - Tenergy 25 2.1 BH - Tenergy 64 1.9
