  1. Training in School

That is very true. It is very practical. I know here in Kuala Lumpur, there is this primary chinese private school that has 51 TT tables laid out in it's hall for the kids..they make it compulsory that all the kids to get involved in TT. It really is something else. It's a huge hall that has 18...

I'll try to record it when I do it on Monday, when I train the local lads near my home. Actually, 70% success rate is quite good, you can only get better buddy once you get used to it. From the way you hit your FH, OI know you're capable. Usually I don't advice this to even intermediate players.
  7. Austrian Open 2011 (Pro Tour)

I think Timo is nursing some niggling injuries. He knows that he has enough points to qualify for the finals, so he just play in the selected few bcoz he might want to be in his best shape for the finals.

You can ask a friend to feed you, but take a bit of time in between each feed. It'll allow you to prepare yourself to receive the serve. It's not exactly a barrage of feed that you normally get from a multiball drill. Take your time and focus on your shots.

It's all in the mind, when you think it's difficult, then you will tighten up when you hit the ball. Instead of hitting the ball, you will push because you are not relax. It's the same thing. When you know about the angles, the reverse side spin will fix by itself. The ball will go over, once it...

  15. What does Table Tennis Need to grow?

Wish I could just say "good soil, wonderful weather, great seedlings". But we all know that it's not as easy as that. We have been going about this topic or similar to this for aeons. Some might say it has to change from the grass root, and some may say that the head honcho of ITTF must go.

I've seen this kid play, and he does have a very bright future. I didn't know his junior world ranking till now, very impressive. In time he'll develop more power and strength, and in order to win close matches, he will also develop his mental toughness. No doubt he is one for the future. Can't...

Yeah, never thought of that..now that you mentioned it, it did cross my mind. If Ma Long fool around like this instead of getting proper rest at home, he would've gotten a smack on the back of the head by Sifu Liu.
