In my opinion, Ma Lin was the last guy to win a grand slam based on sheer creative genius. When ZJK burst into the scene , I found his banana flicks and reverse pendulums quite unique amd creative. The bigger ball just killed the creativity in the game. People need powerful loops/counter loops...

ZJK needs to take off till he really gets well. If he comes back half way into recovery , it.is over for him because CNT is no joke.

Using Omega IV pro on forehamd amd Omega V pro on backhand. Omega V is less boucy high throw and good control to handle incoming spin. IV however gives me more spin than V

I think he is short of confidence due to not competing and using injury as an excuse to hide the fact that his level is low right now.

ZJK's time is up. Sad but true. I saw olympics trial last year and he was ripping everyone apart. He needs to go to rehab and come back after fully recovering or simply retire. Sad to see a great champ in this condition. My prediction is he will end up 10th or 11th in this competition.

Couple of weaknesses that surely troubled FZD - Long serves and short game. Fang bo amd Ma long both did the same. Ma Long being the captain did it better.

In my opinion, LJK has wins against some top CNT players because he knows their game and he has no pressure to perform against them. In international competitions, he has lot of pressure and crumbles under it. I also can't find anything special in his technique. His forehand lacks power of ML...

It was simply not FZD's day. But one thing that stood out was the fact that FZD is becoming very one dimensional (just attack or counter attack). Ma Long can play the mental game way better. May be its the experience and the confidence.
