It isn't a myth or fairy tale.look close at the loops.it is very easy to notice the difference. Chinese loop uses more of the whole arm,to generate power and spin,whereas the euro loop uses the elbow as a pivot.

That is correct.the only way to know is by trying different setups and feeling the effect yourself. For eg:you have rubber X,with blade Y and Z. You put rubber X on blade Y,and feel that it is not easy to generate good spin,but when you put rubber X on blade Z,the spin is created easily etc.

Also being able to think(mental strenght) is important,as stated above. Physical endurence is a aspect that I think most people don't worry about-they often get proved wrong,and learn the hard way how important it is.

Using a chinese rubber witha chinese loop,you are able to spin the ball much better and easier than euro rubbers. Euro loop is less arm motion,easier to execute
