  1. ESPN To Cover Women's World Cup

I think this is not only a big step for tabletennis in the US of A. This is also a big step towards more mainstream media coverage in general in the western world. The lights of Hope are still shining. Luv TT

  3. Setup for Chinese style Arc/loop...

There are blades that produce higher arcs than others. So yes, probably to a degree, but not really negate but rather equalize. If you use a hinoki blade with T05 and then use a blade with other wood type but same T05 rubber the arcs will be quite different.
  4. Share your Racket's Photo

Dear TTD community. I actually didn't want to be a show off, but this I must share with you. Today a dream came true. Finally I found this lovely 3ply hinoki all wood blade and it just plays like a dream. So much dwell time, almost like the ball gets magnetized by the blade... it almost feels...

  7. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I´m not so sure if you actually get it. Maybe hopefully in ten years from now and you look back, you´ll understand and might even feel a little ashamed from these many, many posts you´ve made... Look there are posts of you that are pretty good and even get my "like" thumb (e.g. the post about...

  9. how to use robot to improve

a good "robot" (just don´t like that term) should be capable to feed you any kind of ball. Little spin, massive spin, unnatural spin, no spin at all. At least ours does that.
  10. koman

I always thought they are somehow related to yinhe. If i remember correctly our club has got a bucket for balls from prasidha and i think somewhere on the bottom it also says Yinhe or Galaxy... I´ll try to take a photo tomorrow after practice and post it here... I´ve just seen they have a...

  13. Reducing Spin on Your Serves

Well mostly it's a matter of practice and not so much of theory... [Emoji12] Thomas Keinath is really good at this (disguising the amount of imparted spin). Last time he was coaching at our club, he even made guys miss whose ratings would be translated to around 2000 USATT. One really needs a...
  14. Rubber getting wet

This is interesting. Most people tell me, that this problem occurs more often with non-tacky rubbers. But maybe it's mostly a question of humidity and temperature. But what could really help you, is to use a racket case that can get heated up to about 40°-50° Celsius like this here for example...
  15. Reducing Spin on Your Serves

Good point, NL. I would like to add, that it could be helpful if one can "disguise" the amount of imparted spin. See, if one makes it too obvious, it's most likely that the serve will get slapped (depends on opponent's strength). So it can be quite helpful if the motions of heavy spin and...

  19. how to use robot to improve

There isn't much to say. The Term is a bit misleading. That so-called "Robot" is not much else, like a ball-serving machine in Badminton or Tennis. It doesn't simulate a human being in terms of tactics, placement etc. It is mainly to practice different techniques and footwork. So practicing...
