You could give the shop Magic-Tischtennis in Bremen a try. They actually used to have the 2008xp but I couldn't find it, but they have a few other options from Dawei and a few others...

Agree with all of the above. If you still want to remove the old glue just pour a few drops of any kind of oil onto the sponge, let it sink in for a short while and gently rub it off. Doesn't matter if VOC or WBG. Both come off much easier. But keep in mind a few drops are enough.
