Doesn't look like a Tenergy sponge to me. Instead it rather looks like the H3 orange sponge, as Joelifigo already pointed out.

If you just want to make the sponge softer then babyoil should be the one, but if you like some more boosting effect, i'd rather go for paraffine or 'real' boosters. But Achal, you're questions have been already answered several times, as there have been already so many posts and threads about...

Our league season ends next month and I'll probably need new rubbers then, so i might as well try it out myself, after i've removed my recent ones.

Well, i must admit that I've only tried it with paraffine oil and with baby oil which both are based on mineral oil, but I would give it a try on a small corner. If it doesn't work, it at least won't do any harm. Remember, a few drops should be enough to be working. Please keep us posted...
