  1. Ask Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

That's what the 'almost' and the :P were for xD I remember a certain Waldner being non-Chinese too ;)
  2. China Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Wow that's awesome! Didn't know he is a pro player xD
  3. Ask Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

Why Dima, why did you beat Maze? :(:(:( No, just kidding :p I wonder how he feels about his future, what he wants to achieve. He is in fact the most succesful Olympic table tennis player besides the Chinese already now: team silver and singles bronze is almost like the best you can get if you...
  4. London 2012 Olympic Ball - Auction!

From wikipedia;): In 1992 (only), two bronze medals were awarded in each event. Due to China's dominance in the sport the format was changed for the 2012 Olympics, such that only two competitors from each country can enter (instead of 3). This format makes it such that one country cannot win all...
  5. London 2012 Olympic Ball - Auction!

The team event is instead of the doubles. Previously when there was Olympic doubles there was no Olympic team event ;)
  6. Ma Long not invited - World Cup 2012

The 2011 World Cup in Paris had amazing audience. But I agree with you that too many top players are left out of a major tournament like the World Cup. In Olympics there was a good reason for it but World Cup is a different story.
  7. Ma Long not invited - World Cup 2012

I'm not sure but it looks like the continenal champions are all invited, + the current title holder of the World Cup. Last year it was World Cup winner + WTTC winner for China. Sad for Ma Long that he didn't get to participate there though, and it wasn't really a high standard of players there...
  8. China Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Maybe he is going on his bike
  9. Poll: Olympics, pinnacle of achievement in TT

    It was New Zealand.
  10. Zhang Jike - Need some help

A bit shaky, but maybe there are some useful parts in it :p Also don't forget the official Olympics Youtube channel where all his OS matches are available I think.
  11. 2012 Olympics Competition Winner

Well everyone knew it was possible to vote untill the bronze medal match, which was pretty easy to guess too. So voting in the QF stage was your own choice, making it hard for yourself but not unfair, because u knew u could've waited until a later stage :p
  12. 2012 Olympics Competition Winner

    Congrats!!
  13. Poll: Olympics, pinnacle of achievement in TT

Well, the thing about OS is that you can't win it by just being in-form at that moment. You need to be in form more than one year ahead of the Olympics to qualify and maintain the form to win. But it has more predictable matches usually indeed, although we have seen alot of unpredictable ones...
  14. If you could have any design on your bat/paddle rubber, what would it be?

A pic of WLQ on the forehand and one of Kreanga on the backhand ^^ Don't even need rubbers on it to make your opponent wet his pants ;)
  15. Post video's Olympic Games 2012

Try this: http://www.youtube.com/user/olympic On the right you can select a sport and then a round. I believe all the streamed matches are available there in full form.
  16. Patrick Baum's shirt!!!!

Nice! Looks like it is the right size for you as well haha!
  17. London 2012 Olympics (Singles)

    It's awesome! :D
  18. London 2012 Olympics (Prize Draw)

Gold: China Silver: Korea Rep Bronze: Germany
  19. Zhang Jike Olympic Gold Medalist

Ma Long has been failing to get himself good titles since 2009. If he would've won 2009 WTTC or World Cup (instead of losing to Samsonov) He would have participated in 2010 World Cup and be able to qualify for 2011 as well. Also if he won 2011 WTTC he would've qualified for World Cup 2011 and...
  20. London 2012 Olympics (Singles)

The thing about Ovtcharov is that he almost never lets go of a lead, especially late in a game. When he has 1 gamepoint, he takes it like 90% of the time. That makes a very big difference in close matches, which is impressive. But still I'm gutted that Maze didn't win this medal :p He really had...
