In table tennis schools in China I believe the younger people practise like 5-6 hours a day, and they study 1-2 hours a day to make sure they have a decent chance of earning a living in a different way if they don't make it to the top. Only when they go full-prof they'll train 8 hours a day. But...

Judging from playing styles I'd say Oh Sang Eun has an advantage. He likes to play against players who build up and don't play too aggressively on the first attack. But Gao Ning often manages to stay in a rally for long so it will be hard for Oh Sang Eun to outblock him, and he can't really play...

Well both are in really good shape, so it's gonna be tight I guess. Oh beat Ma Lin in the China Open, Gao Ning did that at the Pro Tour Grand Finals in 2011. So they are both capable of big things when they are in good shape, but based on world rankings Oh is the favourite.
