Well it was on a sale, but i got my 2 sheets for 25,90 each at Menereis tt shop in the Netherlands. Not sure if they take orders from Belgium phillypong :p
Ah thanks for the info Trismegistus. Kinda weird that you can complete your Grand Slam without meeting the world's no. 1 indeed :p I'd love to see Zhang Jike win the Olympics, but an encounter with Ma Long would be the ultimate final of course. Hopefully they will play many more matches against...
How do you break your frame in practise? o.0 Recently I saw a funny way to break a frame lol. Some guys were hitting around a bit before their match started, and when they stopped, 1 gave the other a lob, like the last ball before their match would start. The guy smashed it with all he had, but...
Indeed, the moment couldn't have been worse. It shows that even if you are that good, you still need some luck to win everything there is to win. Nonetheless, WLQ is a legend of course.
He got crushed by Dima at the World Team Cup 2011 ;) But if it is true that Wang or Zhang couldn't play teams if they were kicked out of the singles by LGL, it seems pretty obvious that they will both play singles. And about Ma Long, the only player he lost to is Koki Niwa, who will most likely...
Exactly my point of view. Nerves, jetlag, lack of training.... None of all this is true. Trust me, the CNT prepared Ma Long very well for this tournament. He just faced a better player.
Actually it looks like Ma did play at his level, but Koki was just smarter than him. He often put Ma Long under pressure so that he couldn't hit a winner, and thus could Koki dominate the rally without having to initiate the attack in every case. The best thing about him is that he never choked...
I agree with Azlan, the intention is what counts. There is no way you can fault the described hitting the table as a fault and defend your decision based on damaging equipment, which is valid when someone hits the table out of aggression. It is to judge for the umpire if the action is purely...
Good point steven, many players play exhibition points at the end of a match when it is practically decided. I think what azlan means however is matches which are organised just to raise funds for some good cause, like earthquake victims.
You can also play rallies taking turns, so when you are picking up the bal after a rally, 2 other people play a rally and so on. Not aflawless system of course, but it could work I guess :p
I don't see a problem in it either. It is just as legal as any other sound I guess, like bouncing the ball, stamping your foot, slapping your head or whatever. No need for them to break up over this :p
