  1. TableTennisDaily App is here!

Yep I wanted to buy it, it is sad that there was no way to pay those 4 euros for me haha. But I'm back home now so it's all good :P
  2. World Junior Championships 2011

His anticipation and block are very strong as well. That is a pro combination. Proven effective before by Oh Sang Eun and Samsonov. It allows a bit more passive approach to the match. And besides that, Lin has a very long swing for his FH while Koki has a short arm motion. It is not as strong...
  3. World Junior Championships 2011

Indeed. In the Junior Circuit where almost all top players rely on speed and power, it is amazing to see the one player relying more on tactics and mental toughness prevail. I think Koki's playing style also makes him more 'durable' than his power-/speedbased fellow junior players.
  4. Choing - Fairplay?

Zhang Jike did it worse when he was younger. I guess it just sounds more annoying when you have a teenagers' voice :)
  5. Qatar Peace and Sport Cup 2011

There actually is a stream now, saying it starts only tomorrow though.
  6. Choing - Fairplay?

If u look at the vid in this thread at 2:34 Gauzy cho's loud for another clear netball. That is worse than Lin's cho's. But those from Lin are quite annoying as well. In the team event when his teammates were playing you could see him hanging in a chair as if he didn't care, but his cho's were...
  7. Qatar Peace and Sport Cup 2011

http://www.ittf.com/World_Events/2011PS/2011_P&S_Prel_Schedule.pdf Looks like only the finals will be streamed
  8. Choing - Fairplay?

Choing can be annoying, but I don't think it's unfair. If anything the French team are the best at annoying cho's. During the team event they gave a standing ovation for every single point, including a serve error from the opponent. If you watch this match at 4:05 You can see that Gauzy doesn't...
  9. World Record Attempt - Take Part!

Really cool :D It would've been longer if they didn't scare the last girl with the noise haha :D
  10. Maze Documentary 2011 (NEW)

4:10 Still the best CHO ever ;)
  11. Timo Boll: Mein China ( Books )

That's incredible Azlan! Thanks for the post :D
  12. TableTennisDaily App is here!

I tried to download Tapatalk but unfortunately I couldn't purchase it since I don't have a creditcard or PayPal :P.
  13. World Junior Championships 2011

In my team is actually a player who is kinda equal in defense and offense. He uses 2x Sriver G2 I believe or something like that. On both his chops and his loops (FH and BH) he gets great spin. Sometimes he would start a match chopping and the next game go in full offense. The opponent won't...
  14. World Junior Championships 2011

That's true. Maybe he can meet them in the singles event. Still he is an interesting player. :) I would love to see him following in Joo's footsteps.
  15. Count me out as a ZJK fan.

That it is childish is entirely your opinion. I don't think so. Since we don't exactly know his motivation, we can only guess. Maybe he was sick of questions that only have one right answer and chose to say something different. Maybe everyone let him down when he got kicked off the team and he...
  16. Count me out as a ZJK fan.

You need a bit of an attitude to be a good leader. Messi is probably the greatest player around, but you can easily tell he is not a natural leader. Him being captain doesn't help Argentina at all. A leader needs his own opinion and authority. You can always take someone's accomplishments down...
  17. Ma Long supports TableTennisDaily

I don't think Ma Long has the possibility to get mad ;) He's too nice for that haha.
  18. Passing Shot - Behind Back!

He probably thought it is not allowed to hit behind your back. :P Today I had the livestreams on early in the afternoon, and some girls matches where on. I saw one girl shaking the hand of her opponent after being 3-0 down, and then finding out she had to play a 4th game. In another match a game...
  19. Count me out as a ZJK fan.

Great post, and welcome to the forum ;) And as long as he says he thinks he is the next leader, I can live with that. That's a little over the edge of self-confidence and arrogance. If he couldn't back it with results it would be pure arrogance, but until now the results are pretty much with...
  20. World Junior Championships 2011

Yuto won 4/4 matches in the Team Event. 3 of them 3-0 (including his match against Robinot) and 3-1 against Zheng, where he had 2 matchpoints in the game he lost. Of course he only played against #3's, but it is still really good. He is only 15 years old as well, so age and experience wouldn't...
