  3. Article: China WTTC 2011 Squad announced!

I'm a bit surprised I thought Hao Shuai was guaranteed too, I thought the 4 players that won the trials were already in but apparently not. Bit of a rough deal. Overall it's difficult to see China NOT winning this world champs unless there is an incredible performance from Boll or anyone else.

  5. What game are you playing now?

Just found this thread. Mario Kart is the best, I used to play it when I was in primary school. Once I evolved out of it Crash Team Racing won my heart! :)
  6. Tibhar Grass DTecs

I know a guy who uses Tibhar Grass Dtecs OX that's without the sponge. I found him incredibly awkward to play. Yes, I have trouble playing long pimples normally, but the Grass Dtecs OX if used right is just horrible. He won his first regional singles title this weekend after many years and...
  7. What's your favourite table tennis video of all time?

Great match there, there are so many great classic games. The old european champs finals and olympics with Waldner, Persson, Primorac, Saive, Gatien etc just have so much to offer in terms of viewing. They used to make compilations I have a couple of old ones, I don't know if they still do those?
  8. The ranking system of each member

I'm chasing the biggest fish of the lot and he's on 974, there's a train coming Dan :P
  9. Hard vs soft rubbers

Fair enough, let us know how it all goes :)
  10. Which grip is theoretically better?

I say shakehand grip. The main point that does it for me is that the crossover point at the body of a pengrip player is a key weak point. On the plus side pengrip allows far more wrist flexibility and the use of a normal OR reverse side on the backhand which could be useful if using different...
  11. Spanish Open 2011

I agree he definitely deserved it, I only hope he revives the form he had a few years ago, he's such a talented player!
  12. The ranking system of each member

I like it Dan :P catch up with you about it next time we chat :)
  13. world championships

The world champs 'individual' event is only ever second year Dan, step your game up :P I don't think it should be every year, every second year allows suspense and for people to follow the results of players over a 2 year period. Plus the world teams every second year is a good chance for...
  14. Have you used a robot?

I used a robot briefly as a young junior and have access to one now, however I prefer multiball fed by person personally as it gives variation and keeps you on your toes.
  15. Latest Jan Ove Waldner Exhibition

Wicked, Waldner is just the perfect man for exhibitioning really.
  16. Tactics for Lefties

hah didn't think of it that way :P
  17. Tactics for Lefties

I'm left handed and I enjoy using the advantage of being able to break the table with wide angles which right handers hate. A tactic I use in tight situations is a long sidespin fast serve which breaks the table, a right hander follows it out to attack on their forehand but very seldom attack...
  18. sorry but im'm kinda noobish :)

Ur doing good Renz, even in the last few weeks you've improved a lot of stuff in your game. Winners are made by hard work and dedication and you have both so keep going! :)
  19. What's your favourite table tennis video of all time?

Love that video mate, great choice! It's one I've watched a few times myself, I think it's one of Joo's best matches personally and the forehand winners that Linghui plays are intense
  20. What's your favourite table tennis video of all time?

On behalf of my flatmate :P Oh Sang Eun's perfect execution leads him to a straight set victory over Wang Hao, even from 8-3 down in the final set he comes back to win 13-11! :D incredible! That one is Jimbo's fave!
