  1. Reverse Pendelum Serve vs Hook Serve

Watch Ma Jinbao from the US. He uses reverse pendulum like 98% of the time. No kidding. And he almost always serves to the opponent's forehand to start a match and exploit the opponent's weakness from there on. Just YouTube his name.
  2. Feedback on my loops against backspin

My two cents: for your backhand, you can use some serious leg movements. You were simply moving your elbow. Yes you bent your knees but you did not unbent it on the way into looping that backspin. Forehand, it seems that you do use some legs into the ball. So that's good. Timing is everything...
  3. Building a custom TT paddle as a beginner

Neottec Hinomi-M 1.5mm Red (assuming you will get Friendship 729 fx in black). Hinomi-M is not exactly an anti-rubber but it has good control. It is very good for its price.
  4. Pricey Hybrids or Accesible Chinese

Yes but Euro Hybrids are NOT really that tacky.
  5. Should I keep Telson China?

Keep it and test it yourself. Nothing beats your own feeling of the blade. I have stopped listening to people's opinions about blades. Some people like their blades to vibrate, while some don't. Some people like their blade to feel "crispy" or whatever that means. Some people memorize the wood...
  6. Pricey Hybrids or Accesible Chinese

I would go for DHS H3 provincial blue sponge. The top sheet looks like crap after a couple sessions but the tackiness remains there. Once you break in the blue sponge, the ball has this catapult effect. Either you like the hurricane sponge (blue sponge or orange sponge) or you don't like it. I...
  7. Post your latest EJ purchase

I am indeed ahead but I will not say what I have.... It gets embarrassing sometimes. But I hope people trust some of the reviews and do not end up buying blades and rubbers that they don't need! I was just tempted to buy Xiom Vega Pro/Asia/Europe hybrid. But I am proud to say I talked...
  8. Beginner looking to build a solid racket

Great. Sounds like you have a plan!
  9. Beginner looking to build a solid racket

I agree with Primorac 5-ply wood (no carbon). G09c FH at 1.9mm and Rozena 1.9mm BH, it sounds perfectly fine to me! Rozena is even faster than G09c so not sure if you want 1.9mm rozena or 1.7mm rozena. Otherwise the set up sounds great to me!
  10. Post your latest EJ purchase

Resist please :) Rozena lasts like forever so you have a good set up for a while. I like Rozena. I don't like Tenergy.
  11. Tibhar / Butterfly

Got it. that's what I suspected too! I like C-1 which is softer than G-1. Tibhar MK FX might be interesting......
  12. Tibhar / Butterfly

How different is Tibhar hybrid MK from Aurus series? The reason is that while I like EL-P and FX-D on my backhand, they are quite catapulty. I play the best (in matches and tournament) with Nittaku Fastarc C-1 because you can clearly tell it is tensor but the catapult effect is not that strong...
  13. Tibhar K3 durability and alternatives

Lol so it is Lazer, Gozo and TensorBackhand against me! I think the thread on Sanwei Target National had another user who loved it like I do. If I may ask, which shop do you source your H3 orange sponge commercial and provincial? this is a serious question. I have searched various places...
  14. Legendary King Maker rubber born in China.

I am actually going to agree you on this one. Since H3 became non-tacky, PF4 is not a bad choice after all.
  15. Which Rubbers suit me?

I agree with both @TensorBackhand and @TackyForehand The way the original poster described it, Glayzer 09c sounds like a perfect match. And if you like it and you like the price of it, learning how to boost it is pretty much automatic. I would just boost it and not fool around with other rubbers.
  16. Hurricane 3 neo durability

The lifespan of Hurricane 3 neo (commerical) is zero. It comes out of the packaging not that tacky. I don't use it anymore. However for anyone wanting to try H3, the commercial version is very affordable so it is a good initial investment. But once you like the tackiness of it, then you should...
  17. The Sky Toss.

I use high toss serves sometimes. It just helps mess up the timing of the opponent. It is like I have 100% problem with no toss illegal serves; those serves always mess up my timing. Oh well...
  18. Tibhar K3 durability and alternatives

you are not the only person who does not like Sanwei Target National. @TensorBackhand does not like Sanwei Target National either. I tried Sanwei Target National twice. Once about 2-3 years ago when I was using H3 commercial orange sponge. I remember liking Sanwei Target National at the time...
  19. Tibhar K3 durability and alternatives

No, H3 was much better when it was tackier! Nowadays, commercial orange sponge, there is pretty much no tack on the surface. For provincial blue sponge, there is still some tackiness. I have not bought any national version so that I am not sure. When it was super tacky, yeah, it was kind of...
  20. Tibhar Stratus Power Wood upgrade

Tibhar Stratus Power Wood is fast but I don't find it to be insanely fast. don't forget. Many inner carbon blades are pretty slow at lower speed and you have to hit the ball harder. Even if SPW is fast, it still retains the all wood feeling (because it is a 5-ply all wood composition after...
