  1. Looking for recommendations for new racket

Yes an excellent value for money viscaria alternative :) I always say to people both koto/kiri or limba/ayous combinations work, just a matter of gear taste and playstyle.
  2. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

Mine is the Lin Gaoyuan's general draws his sword, but then from Temu xD
  3. Nittaku Violin for the modern game?

I agree with this @mightymouse , I think that even though white ash is a very hard wood, since the plies are super thin, you don't feel it much. Also, white ash is very flexible, so that gives the blade a certain feel and forgiveness that I love combined with the kiri core :) Acoustic is...
  4. Looking for recommendations for new racket

At the risk of being unpopular here, but if you played with the ZLF and Viscaria with those rubbers, that's fast enough for intermediates in most cases. I think it's important to know where power comes from in TT, and it's not about gear but technique, check this out...
  5. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

Oohhhh!! I see!! hahaha indeed lost in translation! thanks for clarifying!!
  6. Looking for recommendations for new racket

I see, with what rubbers did you try the viscaria or what rubbers are now on the ZLF?
  7. Nittaku Violin for the modern game?

Hey! Violin is my favourite blade of all times, I used it for almost 2 years and it's a fantastic intermediate blade you can use all the way until you need more power far from the table. It's made from white ash and kiri so very different from the typical limba/ayous blade like primorac. It...
  8. Looking for recommendations for new racket

I love my H3N BS on FH and 8-80 on backhand, if the basics of technique, footwork and overall condition are there, then it's great value for money :) In any case, what was not clear to me is if you have the Loki blade already or you want to change to it. It's not a slow blade, as an...
  9. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

You could also argue that you 'nailed' your FH hahahaha
  10. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

I know ;) It was a joke from the video the user posted above hahaha :D
  11. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

Yep this is what you see nowadays in pros indeed, many are changing to pushing from right leg, but most people I know of and coach are still more comfortable with left to right in the majority of stroke situations
  12. Can a European Forehand have advantages over a Chinese style forehand?

Most high players in our club have a euro/non-chinese FH stroke and it's fine so the answer is yes at the amateur level, for sure. Just be careful not to be too tense on the arm/shoulder, I see this often as people try to add more power, this leads to injuries in the medium/long term.
  13. What’s the better glue in your opinion?

I like Revolution 3 for anything non boosted, and DHS 15 for boosted. If you don't seal the blade, DHS 15 clumps quickly, so you need to seal, or use R3 for the blade, I do that and it's fine. Others have said to moist the sponge or indeed add some water to it. It is said R3 has more catapult...
  14. Hurricane 3 Neo (Provincial Blue Sponge, 40 degrees) is the longest living (and the best) rubber I have ever tried.

I see, much more structured than me, I go for the vibe glueing always haha
  15. Hurricane 3 Neo (Provincial Blue Sponge, 40 degrees) is the longest living (and the best) rubber I have ever tried.

Yes with the old H3s, the commercial was still so tacky! One very good player in our club the same, he used it for 3+ years and still tacky after so long, but he didn't boost, quite a beast the guy :)
  16. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

Always hard to explain without images / videos no worries :) I think I get it ;)
  17. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

So here you refer to a more core-based motion from what I can understand? So probably more like anders lind explains or different @Takkyu_wa_inochi ? :) Yes chiquita has more weight on the dominant leg for me always, otherwise I don't get the right feel for it. By the way, the transfer I talk...
  18. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

Not really but it has helped me focus my technique in let's say 80% of the standard situations :) Yes I agree here, sometimes footwork is not enough to get into the right position, plus as amateurs our footwork is not always topnotch, in this case it makes a lot of sense what you say here. And...
  19. Hurricane 3 Neo (Provincial Blue Sponge, 40 degrees) is the longest living (and the best) rubber I have ever tried.

I missed this before, yes, I fully agree, writing an amateur guide now to H3N and this is my advice as well. Will have a look! Wich osmo oil product exactly? There are different variants :)
