ok little Update i got a donic ovtcharov no.1 senso for a steal. I couldn´t resist. The Donic is a lot slower, with a bit better control. The handle is smaller and for me the transition from forehand to backhand is easier in my opinion. But to get power you have to work a lot more and the blade...

The owner of SoulSpin once stated that, a blade always works as one, so different outer plies one a blade don´t make that much of a difference. I did not test the blade, but he has a lot of experience and his opinion should be trusted. I think for beginners changing a blade is a big mistake...

Has anybody some insight in what the rubber is? Does it even have pimps left under it?

how do you know it´s apro version, and whats differnt to the "normal" version. Does it play significantly different

Hey i threw my ovtcharov innerfroce blade. I want to buy either a new Ovtcharov innerforce alc, but i am also thinking about the Donic No. 1 Sonso or the JO waldnerGold edition has someone tested these and can compare them. Maybe even compare them to the w968. Thank you in advance.

has somebody tested the donic no 1 senso. Should be the predecessor of the butterfly ovtcharov, and can compare the two.

in my opinion you can clearly see the spin on serves if you look for the logo on the ball. For fast top spins it usually doesnt matter if its high or very high top spin. Also float servers are easy to see if you look very closely at the ball

looks to me like ma long just adjusts his thumb a little bit but keeps the angle of the racket the same, the angle as he states is more backhand orientated but looks to me very neutral.

I don´t i think there is not enough time if you have to react and block. For attacking there is usually more time. But all in all i don´t do it i try have a neutral grip.

099c is also mild tacky, is it similar in tackiness or less tacky then 09c. Is the softness comparable to Temergy 05. This rubber seems to be a lot of fun.

What kind of wood are you using and in which order?

Dignics 05, is not easy to use. It requiers good technique always. D80 is a bit easier to play but not has top end the spin potential of D05.

Go for an innerforce blade, does not have to be butterfly. Ovtcharov ALC isa really good in between blade with good spin and good speed, very close to viscaria type blades. But equipment will only help so far if any, if the technique is bad. Rather invest in good coaching.
