  1. Harimoto defeats Fan Zhendong | Asian Cup 2018

Not only the group no. 1 goes further?
  2. Asian Cup 2018

Isn't only the group no.1goes further?
  3. H3 unboosted = problem??!

Wow. Shining Dragon is insensitive to spin and grabs the ball with the topsheet's softness.
  4. Sandpaper vs. Sponge

I still can't see players with double long pips or anti in the top 100. But whatever. I enjoy TT because of the spin.
  5. Information about GEWO ?

Yes, I meant the Hype KR. I like it, just needed to change my technique a little and after it worns out will pop up short pushes and dropshots, so I have to change the angle and motion with time. Sorry, I meant the Bluefire M1 and M2. M3 is too slow, I've tried the JP01 for like 1/4 hour, so...
  6. Information about GEWO ?

I asked some ppl, any brand can order from there. Butterfly, Joola, Stiga...anyone...they manufacture even for single persons (if you order enough)
  7. Information about GEWO ?

As far as I know some Butterfly blades are manufactured in Hungary, but don't know about Gewo or others. i will ask my friends who might know the answer.
  8. Information about GEWO ?

I use Gewo rubbers. They are softer than I expected, but I think they worth the money. Pretty good quality. Good spin, good speed, but the best is the control. Just a little soft for my liking. I don't say they're better than other brands' rubbers, but I don't feel that they are worse than the...
  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Finally. The regional training program started for youth players in Hungary. At least one long session/month (preferrably more) and at least two week training in the summer. Nearly every strong club will send their players. I hope this will lead to somewhere.

It doesn't require specific drills. Do basic warmup drills a lot, for example: backhand-middle-bh-forehand-.... Nothing too complicated. Also practice short touches more than usually.
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Yeah, I am aware of that and it happened to me multiple times. The thing is, you can estimate someone's power better if she/he's got formal training. Plus this girl, in contrary to many young girls here, used spin. It's hard to play against half-dead hits and pushes if your opponent does it...
  12. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

It's been a while I posted, so: it starts to show that I play 4-5 times a week now (my classes don't interfere with training this semester). Today there was a girl from the U15 national team from Scotland. I am pretty sure that I could beat her (as I beat 3-0 my clubmate who beat her). I hope...
  13. Zhou Yu: Bluefire on backhand?

The colors seem exactly like a bluefire (xame blue sponge, same red topsheeet. The coloring of the picture is quite realistic). I haven't seen a sheet of bluestorm, so I don't know about it, however it might have a thinner topsheet like rasanter (I mean it should look thinner in the picture too)
  14. In search of the perfect game ...

Just watching the between Wang Chuqin and Tiago Apolonia. In this game Wang Chuqin's usage of strategy is very obvious. Strategic side isn't missing. When I was watching Belgium Nat. Champs final I was disappointed because I couldn't spot strategies, just tactical gameplay.
  15. In search of the perfect game ...

I can't understand your last sentence. The part: " appreciate professional table tennis played more as sport and less as an attempt to play Chopin's Minute Waltz in forty-five seconds. " I believe running, swimming, etc. IS like playing Chopin's Minute Waltz in forty-five seconds, but...
  16. New Equipment 2018

I am waiting for Victas release something wilder than V>15 Extra... Though probably I would try it only on BH side...now thinking about going back to H3. I am playing with Gewo Hype 47.5 KR since a while now, and I have mixed feelings. It's good, but it isn't a spin/speed monster like MX-P, less...
  17. In search of the perfect game ...

Increase the number of pro players. For this the best solution would be building regional TT academies with lower costs. Here in Hungary I can count the number of clubs who actually own their halls on one hand.
  18. FH Rubber Suggestions

You already do the 2, right? If you're ok with the Pro on FH, then get used to it. EJing is dangerous to your wallet .)
  19. Are you playing against Timo Boll?

Well, Aruna has a very good sense to control the game, otherwise he couldn't survive with only a good FH ;)
  20. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Another quick review about the Hype KR 47.5, after using it 3*2.5 hour: It feels soft, way softer than the other rubbers I've played. It's also much more insensitive to spin. I still can't get big amounts of spin with FH, but generating medium amounts is extremely easy. With BH I can get good...
