  1. Best angle for tt videos: poll

Hi guys, there is the voting poll to select an angle, what I will send to ITTF. After a while, I will create an online petition to change the current angle of the ITTF videos. I use the angles what you posted in this thread...
  2. Can you glue over old glue

VOC over VOC is normal, water base over water based is sometimes ok, sometimes not (I wouldn't try it because it can cause hard times to remove two different water based glue's mix. For example I glued Revolution 3 glue over Xiom IBond glue and -oh my God- it was terrible!) I don't know about...
  3. Angle of the videos

My favourite angle is this but also like the Swiss open's angle:
  4. Angle of the videos

Hi guys, I think I am not the only one who don't like the current ITTF videos angle and quality. We could write a petition to change the angle. Please post a match record with the angle you like the most. After a few days, I will start a poll with these videos. Finally I want to create an...
  5. How to glue and what glue is the best?

Revolution No. 3 and Nittaku Finezip
  6. Boosting with baby oil

I boosted Xiom Vega Pro with baby oil and be careful! Apply maximum two layers because it become too bouncy! I mean REALLY bouncy (I've never seen anything like that)!
  7. Hungarian First League

Archive and live videos. Enjoy! http://www.pinyotv.hu/
  8. Confused and intimidated by xiom rubbers :c

I tried all of them (not owned) and Omega IV Asia and Omega V Pro are the bests. It's just my feeling.
  9. Changing style to avoid bad habits

I doesn't mean changing style to 'break' bad habits and then change back. So it isn't just an extra step, it's a permanent change.
  10. FH Rubber Advice Wanted Please!

    Maybe EL-P?
  11. Changing style to avoid bad habits

Yes, there isn't. That's why his coach taught him defense, because it was a completely new thing for him what he could learn from zero. Anyway, I don't have such a problem, it's just an idea.
  12. new rubbers for complete amateur

I've heard that t88-I and target is excellent for the price, but I've never tried.
  13. Changing style to avoid bad habits

Of course a coach is needed.
  14. Changing style to avoid bad habits

Hi, I've just read about Ádám Pattantyús. Before table tennis he played tennis. His coach recommended him to be a defender because he had some bad stroke habits from the tennis, especially on the bh side. What do you think, it would be a good idea to suggest to learn a different style players...
  15. new rubbers for complete amateur

Maybe due to the bad bad quality control, but I've felt that the supersoft has the same speed as super fx or maybe faster (or my teammate boosted/glued it). But you're right, I've passed the -soft word.
  16. new rubbers for complete amateur

Learn to read the spin and learn the strokes aren't mutually exclusive things. 729 Super 2.0 and 2.2 are nor very fast, nor very slow. Howgh, I've spoken.
  17. new rubbers for complete amateur

I see your point and probably we'll never know which way is the right way. Or there isn't a right way, just different ways. What made me to recommend tacky rubbers is that I see a lot of kids who's technique seems to be perfect, but they can't use it properly, because they can't read the spin...
  18. new rubbers for complete amateur

I recommend you to use tacky (usually chinese) rubber on both sides. Tacky rubbers are sensitive to spin and that's what a beginner need: learn to read the spin (OK, I think this is what a beginner need). 729 Super FX is quite good, this was my first rubber (along with unboosted Skyline II). 2.0...
  19. Problems gluing Tenergy rubbers

My favourite glue is the Revolution No. 3 glue. It's pretty popular in Hungary an never heard any problems about it. A big plus that it works well with oil and boosters.
