This is exactly how it felt. I was shocked how it wasn't fast nor did it have that 1 ply hinoki sound. I am also really liking fastarc g1. Somehow, Vmax and fastarc g1 feels more controlled in the short game than my garaydia and baracuda.

I just glued the fastarc g1 and holy shit, it's so fast and bouncy. Definitely the fastest blade I've ever owned. I may want to slap on a rubber that's a little slower, a hybrid but am tempted to put a skyline or hurricane to see how it behaves

It really depends where in the US. A 2000 usatt rated player from the Bay Area is wildly different than a 2000 player from the Midwest.
