recently tried an old sheet of vega china on my harimoto super alc. I still love this rubber, can be used like h3 unfortunately I practise less nowadays, and without regular practice, its a bit difficult to hit through the 54 degree hard sponge does anyone have an alternative to vega china...

yes, if the old layer of glue is still even without bumps, just add 1-2 fresh layers of glue and glue it on the new racket. its no problem at all

yes g1 needs more sponge activation, but not very predictable for flicks? for me the hard topsheet of g1 makes it very reliable and one of the best rubbers for flicks. but I can see that flicking can be easier with rubbers that have more accessible topsheet grip, like glayzer, dignics, etc. you...

for me the answer was fastarc g1. unexciting rubber that does everything well, isnt bouncy and lasts a very long time. the sponge is much softer than h3 but the topsheet of g1 is quite hard, so you get a very solid hitting feeling. spin is overall good, speed is much more accessible than h3...

I would agree that mantra pro m is suitable for beginners on a slower blade also it teaches how to engage the sponge, mantra pro seriously doesnt grip the ball if you only use the topsheet
