Regarding stepping earlier, does this refer to moving faster after finishing a shot to get into the ready position for the next shot? Or to initiate the motion with my right foot earlier once in ready position, so that I can hit the ball earlier? Thank you Tony :)

Yes, that‘s right. I have never been good at producing high spin on normal / block balls. The arc is often a bit flat. On backspin openups, I know how to produce much better spin with a strong arc that dips near the end of the table. I am sure there are fundamental flaws in my technique :D

I totally agree with you. As disappointed as I was after I saw what happened to my blades, the customer support was excellent from Xiom. Extremely friendly and quick to respond + they replaced the blade. I wouldnt take this for granted

My point is that I dont even know if the person I wrote with can be sure of this information, as some of their other infos regarding blades was incorrect aswell

I was simply stating what Xiom told me. During my conversation with them, they also told me that „(…) blades can be extra sealed if customer want to avoid from possibility of damage when rubber takes off. Normally this damage happens with light Limba wood, as a production for example TMXi...

What I can say though is that atleast Xiom send me another blade as a replacement, and their communication was very fast. Nonetheless, what a day. Two very expensive blades, one totally ruined, one maybe fine or maybe not… this is not what you want or expect when paying for the premium line of...
