  1. Real Stiga Dynasty Xu Xin Edition?

It is definitely varnished, but I have never seen another one myself so maybe it really is a fake. Thanks for the suggestion, I just emailed them. Hopefully they can help me, since I really doubt it was bought straight from them.
  2. Real Stiga Dynasty Xu Xin Edition?

A friend of mine found this blade just lying in his house, no idea where it came from. Wondering if this one is a real or a fake, given neither of us know where it was bought from.
  3. Which balls are the best for multiball training?

I use Kevenz 3* from Amazon. To me they feel as good as Butterfly 3*, and are a tenth of the cost.
  4. SDC Handmade Blades

This outer ply is absolutely beautiful! Kinda looks like your black limba blades, but more symmetrical.
  5. Backhand Technique

What comes naturally to you? Punchy or spinny BH? You build upon your strong suit, it doesn't really make much sense to forget what comes naturally and relearn something you're less talented at, unless you are a total beginner which you said you aren't.
  6. Palio AK47 appreciation topic

Used Red on BH for a couple of months. It's definitely good value, but I found it to be extremely difficult to play with. For some reason, getting a good touch out of it was very difficult for me on regular loops and loops against backspin. The ball rarely penetrated the sponge compared to the...
  7. DHS Gold arc 8 vs Andro rasanter R45 vs Nittaku fastarc G1

Haven't tried Gold Arc 8, but I did own R45 for a bit, and I currently use G1. In terms of spin, they are pretty comparable. Speed-wise R45 is bouncier and faster. Chose G1 over it for the supposed durability and cheaper price.

  9. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Watch out with too many disputes on AliExpress. It's not exactly the most moral website. I've asked for a refund/replacement for a number of defective items before, and was put in a prohibition period. I could not dispute more items, nor could I use the chatbot to get a human to talk to and get...
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

A slow drop in spin and speed as it ages, but the topsheet still looks brand new, and the rubber itself is definitely still good enough to play with, even in tournaments. I'd say right now the spin/speed of the rubber is somewhere around 80%-85% of brand new. Not too bad for a 17$ rubber. Only...

LAC (H41) after 3 months in, approximately 150 hours of actual use. I love this rubber, but it would not be competition legal in this condition. Gluing the H40 version right now, supposedly with a less brittle sponge. If it can't survive as long or longer, I might just go back to Big Dipper.
  12. 729 Bloom Power

This is a waste of time. I've already bought one from a seller that had the same description, after double checking with the seller, and received the old version without the ITTF logo. Yeah, I got half my money back, and got to try this rubber for cheap, but I am not going to keep spending money...
  13. 729 Bloom Power

It's slow when you want it to be slow, and fast when you want it to be fast. I think it's a great rubber, it's just a shame AliExpress doesn't sell the ITTF version of it.
  14. The best purchase you ever made?

Bought my Nittaku Violin for ~$100 in Japan, brand new.
  15. Best way to handle slow, high, spinny opening loop?

My coach told me to take them early and kind of push them down with a block.

These socks will boost your rating by 100 points.

You are making LAC sound like a piece of garbage, when in reality it's freaking amazing for its price.

It's pointless to ask Ali sellers for something like that. Most will reply to you whatever you want to hear, and throw that conversation in the bin as soon as you place your order.
  20. Hybrid rubbers (Euro/Jap - Chinese)

Did you try an Innerforce ALC? Sounds like you want an inner carbon with a smaller head.
