A friend of mine found this blade just lying in his house, no idea where it came from. Wondering if this one is a real or a fake, given neither of us know where it was bought from.

I use Kevenz 3* from Amazon. To me they feel as good as Butterfly 3*, and are a tenth of the cost.

This outer ply is absolutely beautiful! Kinda looks like your black limba blades, but more symmetrical.

What comes naturally to you? Punchy or spinny BH? You build upon your strong suit, it doesn't really make much sense to forget what comes naturally and relearn something you're less talented at, unless you are a total beginner which you said you aren't.

Haven't tried Gold Arc 8, but I did own R45 for a bit, and I currently use G1. In terms of spin, they are pretty comparable. Speed-wise R45 is bouncier and faster. Chose G1 over it for the supposed durability and cheaper price.

A slow drop in spin and speed as it ages, but the topsheet still looks brand new, and the rubber itself is definitely still good enough to play with, even in tournaments. I'd say right now the spin/speed of the rubber is somewhere around 80%-85% of brand new. Not too bad for a 17$ rubber. Only...

LAC (H41) after 3 months in, approximately 150 hours of actual use. I love this rubber, but it would not be competition legal in this condition. Gluing the H40 version right now, supposedly with a less brittle sponge. If it can't survive as long or longer, I might just go back to Big Dipper.

This is a waste of time. I've already bought one from a seller that had the same description, after double checking with the seller, and received the old version without the ITTF logo. It's slow when you want it to be slow, and fast when you want it to be fast. I think it's a great rubber, it's just a shame AliExpress doesn't sell the ITTF version of it.
