Indeed, it can be a strong weapon for left-handers. (I am also a lefty;)....) I'm still regularly annoyed by players at this level who don't see the opportunity to play in parallel.

That you are not allowed to hide the ball with your hand/arm/body is already in the rules. That you are not allowed to serve when standing next to the table is not included in the rules of the game. By forbidding this and your shoulders must be parallel to the baseline, you pretty much rule out...

They (the players) who usually stand with both shoulders parallel to their baseline (and certainly not next to their table) usually have/give legal services. How difficult can it be to implement this rule.

The opponent will probably be able to see more than what is shown here. The camera is way too high here. But...if you look at where LSD stands at the table you can 100% assume that the ball is hit above the field of play and not behind the baseline. In doing so, he is clearly reducing the field...

LSD's timing with his BH for the 10th point in game 7 was perfect. He could have taken that one even earlier but didn't.
