  1. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

    That’s a prime example of child abuse… Cheers L-zr
  2. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

The game is so fast so in a real situation there is no time to do it 100% right. I find myself just using the arm in match situations… Cheers L-zr
  3. Yasaka Rakza 7 Hard

Hmm, interesting indeed… But it may be too heavy… Cheers L-zr
  4. Tenergy 05, Glazer 09c, Vega Pro, Rakza Z, and Hammond Z2.

When looping (lifting) backspin with FH its very important to be positioned right. Pay attention to Your footwork. One problem I have is getting too close to the table and due to this lean backwards. This happen a lot when I don't pay attention. Cheers L-zr
  5. Throw angle is not a rubber property!

No its a combined rubber blade property. Cheers L-zr
  6. Tibhar Hybrid MK alternatives

I just tried Andro Nuzn 45 and I would say it is close enough to Hybrid MK FX. But I would choose Hybrid MK FX if I could. Tried them on different blades but I’m still in wait för TT11 to have them on special…. Cheers L-zr
  7. Samwei Nova Carbon, what is the correct spec ???

I can play with this combo. I would give the blade an off -to off rating. Fast enough for me and easy to loop with. But the great feeling I was hoping for was missing. The rubber Nuzn 45 I think could work as a replacement for Tibhar Hybrid MK FX. But if get to choose my choice would still be...
  8. All about blade sealing

I's the contact with air that ruins it. Make a test on a regular piece of wood. If it hardens its OK to use, Cheers L-zr
  9. Samwei Nova Carbon, what is the correct spec ???

Recovered (almost) from tennis elbow and... I have now both versions of Carbon Nove and tonight I will test the original one (not the test version) I will use: FH: H3 prov BS 39 BH: Andro Nuzn 45 I will get back late tonight with a brief commentary. Cheers L-zr
  10. Rubber catapult ranking

Yes it’s more bouncy, but when you go for it I don’t know. Z is more powerful (speed + spin) for sure… Cheers L-zr
  11. Neottec Amagi HC

Very heavy rubbers on a light blade would make the racket very top heavy. The balance is more noticeable than the actual weight within resonable limits. I believe Neottecs have smaller heads, that’s one reason why they are lighter… Cheers L-zr
  12. New Andro NUZN 48 and 45

Not yet, probably by the end of the season when Dragon F expires... It's still in the package so I cant tell the weight, guess it should be lighter than 48 though... Cheers L-zr
  13. Hurricane 3 + protective films

That was probably in the old days when H3 topsheet was really sticky... I have yet to see this... Cheers L-zr
  14. Hurricane 3 + protective films

Oxidation is a chemical reaction to oxygen. Oxygen is present in air and water. How can a sheet which prevents direct contact with air if put on to the dry rubber ENHANCE oxidazation??? I have been using sometimes cleaner sometimes pure water and protective sheets for years and no problems...
  15. Rubbers and blade for a begginer

I don't like Vega Europe, its way too soft specially on FH, Mantra I don't know anything about. The thing about softer grippy rubbers is that they are very sensitive to spin. I would select the next one up (at least 45 in hardness) in the vega series. Yes its easier to generate spin with a soft...
  16. Firefall Series (AC/SC/FC)

    Good luck 😊😂 Cheers L-zr
  17. Firefall Series (AC/SC/FC)

You just responded to an over 10 year old ghost... Cheers L-zr
  18. Rubbers and blade for a begginer

Exactly, I did play competitions in the 70's and restarted in 2019 with a Primorac carbon (was given to me) and sriver rubbers since I used super sriver back then. It was way too fast for me so I went down to "all" blades and worked my way up. I am now on a down tuned Primorac carbon, thinner...
  19. Hurricane 3 + protective films

I make my own cleaner. I tiny bit if Yes dishwashing liquid mixed with water. Has been working perfectly for a couple of years. Cheers L-zr
  20. Rubbers and blade for a begginer

Do yourself a favor and get an allwood blade and equip it with some slow and decent rubbers. I.e: Blade: Yasaka Sweden extra. Rubbers: 729 snipe focus or Samwei taiji 2022. Those are two light rubbers. Chose Yasaka Mark V for something a bit more expensive with higher quality. Play with this...
