  1. Any reviews for Sword VSea?

Gan has reviewed it sometime ago Sword vsea review - tabletennisgan
  2. Hurricane rubbers that are worth it without boosting

Agreed, I'm also using a 39deg commercial version atm. Tbf, though H3 is the spinniest of all chinese rubber I've ever tried, it's the hardest to play through the ball due to its sponge being denser and harder. Others like Battle 2, Big Dipper or Sanwei Target has a more elastic sponge so I can...
  3. China super league 2023

seeing Wang MY and Chen XT went nuts when Qian made a comeback puts a smile on my face for no reason lmao
  4. Yinhe QC issues or unlucky sheet?

I normally put tap water on my sponge, wring it then use it on my rubber alongside a bottle of cleaner. This method doesn't damage the topsheet as much
  5. Yinhe QC issues or unlucky sheet?

tbh chinese rubber are better preserved using body sweat than water, I remembered that (at least in my country) tap water contains a small amount of chlorium that deteriorates the topsheet
  6. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I haven't dig into the technology they used, but they print that on the topsheet. Imo, I guess it's some sort of boosting
  7. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

maybe it's because of the predilation sponge treatment thing they applied to the topsheet
  8. Most tacky top sheet rubber in your experience.

Sanwei Target Pro 3 and 729 B2 provincial orange sponge have the tackiest surface to my experience
  9. WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2023

yeah, re-watching the highlights I noticed Hugo have exploited the forehand of Togami with straight backhand shot very well. A thing I noticed is that for a vocal player like Togami, he's totally quiet throughout the 4th and 5th set, maybe this will mark a new change for him in match mentality
  10. all roads lead to Rome...

same goes for chinese rubber fans, we'll eventually use H3 lol
  11. Yinhe Mercury 2 vs DHS PF4?

there's a newer version for 40+ balls, it has been released a few years back though
  12. Yinhe Mercury 2 vs DHS PF4?

Hello guys, I'm currently playing with Yinhe Mercury 2 (unboosted) on my forehand, and tbf I'm feeling quite content with this rubber. I can pull out most of my forehand technique with relative ease, and the ball quality is decent (medium arc, speed and spin is moderate). But a downside I find...
  13. WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2023

sadly, I think not, Togami has won Hugo twice before. Given the experience of the previous matches, he should've handled better this time. This is the best chance he had to entered the top 4 in a tournament and he blew it
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

that is the common price of tenergy rubbers here so u don't have to worry, it's that to foreigner, everything is just cheaper in Vietnam, to us tenergy is still expensive lol
  15. Used rubbers/blades. What to pay attention to when buying?

I usually check for facebook groups that resell second hand blades, rubbers, if you want to play safer buying from your clubmates. As for what to check when buying second hand equipment: Blades: ask the seller to give you detail photos of the blades, imo common defections are: Dents, wood...
  16. Should I stick to the ALC blade as a beginner?

It feel "powerless" but it reflects your technique. ALC blade has limited your ability to exert force by yourself, I think you should try an all wood blade for a while to practice generating force and train your feeling
  17. WTT Contender Zagreb 2023

Tonight was such a thrill, both matches went in the way of the underdog. I didn't even think Lin GY would fight so tenaciously. For Hirano it felt like a relive of the 2017 Asian Championship, knocking down a string of CNT players to win the title
  18. Cheap rubbers - Am i missing something?

Yinhe cheap end products are no joke, I'm currently using Mercury 2 on the backhand unboosted and it support every aspect of my backhand sufficiently. Of course being a cheap rubber, it won't reward passive shots or shots where the technique is off, also it only fits close table play. On the...
  19. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

right now I'm a tight-budget player so the best I could afford is Target Pro blue or BD1 prov version lol
  20. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

True, recently I've tried a black sheet of H3 commercial version. Others chinese rubbers often choose the "hard topsheet softer sponge" while H3 is the opposite, my Target Pro 3 gives spins based on how forward I can hit while H3 doesn't necessary require it
