Hah, you can hit exactly the same shots with Mark V as any other rubber (offensive pips in of course). You are just perpetuating an urban myth…

There is reason for this is a lower ceiling. Yes you can do power loops but with a little less power. I avoid playing away from the table because with H3 my shoulder can’t handle the power it requires from distance.

Persson used to play with the fastest blade among the Swedes. I stay away because of this…. I’m more like an Appelgren player (allround).
My guess is it is on the faster half of the court…

There is not much difference in the swing compared to other rubbers. It’s a little bit slower so you either need to open the angle a little bit or strike a little bit more upwards, but the harder you strike the lesser the difference…
Or use a faster blade..

There is always a difference in angle when striking the ball and you will need to adapt. Besides there is not much difference in that sense between Mark V and Rakza 7. Mark V is slower but it has maybe the best topsheet in Yasaka lineup. It doesn’t get the kick from from the sponge but many here...
When you are a beginner or close to I think what matters is a set up that:
- Has decent speed but not too much.
- Not too much catapul
- Not too spin sensitive.
I remember a guy in one of my clubs who came equipped with Primorac carbon and T05 and T05FX. As soon as you put him under just a...
I don’t know how accurate the answer is, but if I could choose I’d choose:
Japan.
“All-round attacking style with fast transition”. I am an allround player but I definitely need to work on my “fast transitions”. 😇

Sriver = Mark V
Rozena = Rakza 7
Tenergy = Rakza X
Dignics = Rakza Z
Not really identical but close enough for marketing, for amateurs it doesn’t matter that much. And I’m sure all the other manufacturers have their own alternatives too.

No it was absolutely not. I used it BEFORE speedgluing was discovered in the 70!s. And the type of ball just doesn’t matter. It’s a little slower and harder to spin that’s it.

Practice more. Never played Tibhae MK FX, but Tibhar MK is really easy to topspin with. I can not imagine that Vega Europe hybrid beats Tibhar MK Hybrid FX in the spin or speed department….

The reaction is so much faster that I believe it contains an agent that reacts chemically. And paraffin oil doesn’t react nearly as fast, neither will evaporate fast.
