  1. Now this is what I called Effective Marketing!

The blade he is promoting in Sweden is J-O Waldner gold edition. But indeed the picture above shows a black BTY rubber, fake pic??? Cheers L-zr
  2. Question from a novice: why so many different rubbers?

There is always something new on each generation of rubber. But there are only a few makers, the brands source them also many are exactly the same with different labels. A 5 ply allwood blade just short of 6mm thick with Yasaka Rakza 7 Rubbers is a good place to start. You can get cheaper...
  3. Durometer A / D / O which one suitable for TT rubber?

https://papurex.de/en/knowledge/shore-hardness/ I had to double check... Check the rules a little bit down on the page. Shore C has a truncated pointed tip, like shore A but a higher weight. I would say Shore O (or OO) is the most optimal to measure table tennis rubbers with. Cheers L-zr
  4. Durometer A / D / O which one suitable for TT rubber?

The one You are talking about is Shore O. Shore C is (I think) like Shore A but with higher pressure... Cheers L-zr
  5. Durometer A / D / O which one suitable for TT rubber?

You are right, I remember it backwards. And I think Shore OOO uses a different sized head... Cheers L-zr
  6. Durometer A / D / O which one suitable for TT rubber?

The head size is standard. If its shore O its 2.40 mm (spherical). If its Shore A its 1.40mm (truncated cone) Shore A is the most common (for any soft surfacce), but I think Shore O is best suited for TT rubbers. Cheers L-zr
  7. Durometer A / D / O which one suitable for TT rubber?

Shore OO uses too high pressure. Cheers L-zr
  8. Durometer A / D / O which one suitable for TT rubber?

Type A is the most common, but for TT rubbers there is a huge uncertainty factor. I think the thicker the surface the more accurate and since TT rubbers are thin it will not be accurate on any scale. You can get all types on Amazon. Cheers l.-zr
  9. Do you have more than one racket that you regularly use?

That too, but the boosting process takes several days so during boosting as well. Sometimes I just switch when the rubber is gone and prepare a new one in time for next rubber change. The important thing is to have at least two that are close enough. Cheers L-zr
  10. Do you have more than one racket that you regularly use?

I have 2 or 3 rackets setup but one is always number 1. The other ones come in during rubber changes and such... The other ones are always are not that different. For instance, I found out that Nittaku S-CZ is very close to Donic Appelgren WC 98. Same construction both made by Soulspin. So I...

  12. Serving laws

  17. Got micro holes in the edges of my Viscaria . Does anyone know What can it be ?

Those are called fibers, the tree uses them to suck water through something that is called the capillary effect. It creates its own ”under pressure” due to its minuscule size. All trees have them… Cheers L-zr
