If I was to change to shakehand, what handle should I choose, and why? I am still waiting for my index finger to heal, I have seen a GP and a physio, both reassured me that it wasn't anything major, but I just feel if this keeps happening, it is really frustrating that I was sort of in shape...
  2. What do you do with the rubbers on your previous blades?

That is very smart! I don't think I can do that in the local clubs, they may want to take commission.
  3. What do you do with the rubbers on your previous blades?

Are there any worries that if the rubbers are left on the blade for years, that it will be very difficult to remove them later?
  4. What do you do with the rubbers on your previous blades?

Nice, very generous, but for every single blade that you don't use? I guess my question is for blades that you think you may use again but not within the next 6 months or 1 year. Would you keep the rubber on or not.
  5. What do you do with the rubbers on your previous blades?

Hi everyone, Curious as to what do you do with the rubbers on your previous blades, and the reasons behind it. Do you leave them on the blade because there is a chance you may come back and play with it? Do you remove the rubbers of the blade and put them onto the new blade? What do you do...

I played tt yesterday with my coach in the uni sports centre, where we get to have more space to move around. I didn't play well, but I think I know why. After last saturday training, my index finger was hurting. I played with my robot on last sunday, with my new blade, and afterwards, i...

Yep, I am still very happy that I have the blade, and will be using it for my training session with my coach this coming Saturday! The rough edges can't hold me back!

From my (limited) experience with Stiga: Rosewood V, Carbonado 145, and Dynasty, Stiga produces quality blades, but the finishing is not very reliable. My Dynasty (more expensive than the rosewood and carbonado) had splinters on the head of the blade, and the part where my fingers wrap around...

My initial impression of the Dynasty blade after hitting with the robot: (in comparison with Timo ALC) - feels like a wood blade, more vibration - speed: slower than Timo ALC - feels easy to get the wood 'cracking' sound, when looping backspin balls, not sure what the significance is - moderate...

Hi guys, thinking of getting a new blade. Would you guys recommend lacquering it? Would doing so actually change the playing characteristics of the blade? (Stiga Xu Xin Blade) Thanks!

Thanks ttmonster! There are local weekly leagues, but they require early registration (which I sometimes do not know what my roster will be like) and the duration is often beyond my knowledge of what my roster will be. So I have just been playing opportunistically, as a sub.

Update on my recent TT activities: Since my defeat at the competition 2 weeks ago, Ive been getting more coaching. I've also trialed different coaches, and found that each has a different approach, and that this may be a good thing for me, as one may be from an older generation, and the other...

Today I played my first tournament since 3 years ago. Leading up to this tournament, I have been exercising practically every day, primarily cardio with the exercise bike or playing with the robot for at least the last few weeks. I have also been getting some coaching from time to time. I had...
