  3. The Chinese Domination of Table Tennis!!!

Most higher level players earn money from private training. That's kind of the issue. I mean its good that they can make a living, but the player development could taper off.
  4. The Chinese Domination of Table Tennis!!!

You might be surprised but there is no English club ATM. https://www.ettu.org/en/events/table-tennis-champions-league-men/history---archive/2022-2023/ I think only Germany and Poland got more than one club in, other than that its pretty diverce.
  5. Using Computer Vision in Table Tennis

I wonder if we can use this to allow users of this forum to submit footage without feeling shame or insecurity. If the ball and table was actually captured, that should be enough to make decent estimations.
  6. Why does womans game focus on BH to BH exchanges?

I've been watching Chen Xingtong vs Chen Meng and majority exchanges were BH to BH. I wonder what is the strategy behind that. Due to the pace of the game there issue to redirect ball down the line?

  11. Tibhar EL-D...my new love!

I had to make longer stroke to get enough racket speed to make power with MX-S. Not really sure why. MX-P feels softer. At least the sheets I had. Over the table, pushes MX-S wins, blocks and whatnot MX-P wins. 1-2 steps from table MX-P was much easier. Open up against backspin, MX-S much easier.

  14. Longevity of Hybrid rubbers

Weeelll. Before COVID I used to wear Jupiter 2 sheets in 100hrs. I mean I wore in a hole in the top sheet (between center and top of the racket). If memory serves right Jupiter 2 I had (I dunno, I killed like 3 sheets), had laminated topsheet. Once you wear through the top layer it sucks. I will...
  15. The Chinese Domination of Table Tennis!!!

Welp. Long ago, in interview on tt11 with Hungarian coach, he mentioned that the big difference is that there is big difference in athlete compensation.
  16. Which training ball to pick

Some time in the past i ordered 100 of them I think. They are ok. Might even go that route, they are like 13$ for 100$ of them.
  17. What are the benefits of short pips on fh?
