  1. Upgrading my Nittaku Fastarc G1.

May I suggest Tibhar hybrid MK. The grippiest ESN rubber I know of, Also it has very little catapult (good for short play). It is slower than G1 (I like to remember). This is my favorite FH ESN rubber... Cheers L-zr
  2. Esn sponge thickness?

The stated thickness is an approximation, it is is not an exact measure. I.e. when Butterfly states 1.9mm they mean 1.9 - 2.1... (And I know buttefly is NOT ESN) Cheers L-zr
  3. Blade damage opinion w968 provincial

No problem that’s fixable. I would probably put some glue in the core crack before I ripped the rubber off. If the other layer wood seem to be there I would do the same. If not cut off a small part and fill with a thin ply, wood type does not matter. Cheers L-zr

  5. The Dark Side is getting more and more tempting...

I think the answer is much more simple... Your set up was waay to fast. Now You can concentrate on developing Your strokes. BTW. that serve in the first game.... Ooohh Nooo.... Cheers L-zr
  6. Rubber dilemma

It’s gonna be way slower with H3 37 compared to Rozena… And the playing characteristics of H3 is very different from both other rubbers. I would do like the previous poster suggested. Keep C1. Cheers L-zr
  7. Champion China table tennis player slammed for losing crucial Singapore game after ‘joyfully singing’ at Taylor Swift gig

  8. What is the best ESN Hybrid rubber for FH?

I would say Tibhar hybrid MK, not but stickiness but very very grippy.... Cheers L-zr
  9. Next step after mark v

You wont get much more spin with those two rubbers and I wouldn't recommend either since they are much softer. Mark V already has a lot of spin potential don't let anybody fool you into believing otherwise. The most natural progression is: Mark V -> Mark V HPS -> Rakza 7. Or if You want to...
  10. Yeah! Baby yeah! Let's go retro. Retro is the new sexy!

A regular Mark V is probably better than both of those. Put it on a special blade. Stick with it and learn FH topspin as well. After 6 months to a year start switching your gear up in steps… Cheers L-zr

  12. Recommend me a super slow control oriented setup , for someone who basically just puts everything back ?

No, that I do not, sorry. But according to Yasaka it has the same topsheet as Mark V, but is softer and slower. Softer than regular Mark V yes, but slower than what? regular Mark V? maybe... It doesnt make a lot of sense though...... Cheers L-zr

  14. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

The wood type "Furu" in Swedish, is "Spruce" in English... I believe your "lymb" and "lymba" should be "limba"... Cheers L-zr
  15. Graph comparing speed (output) vs input of different rubber types

Seriously doubt there is something like a true linear rubber. At the most in a short section of the graph. And also all curves shall flatten at the top (air resistance...). Cheers L-zr
  16. Recommend me a super slow control oriented setup , for someone who basically just puts everything back ?

More modern sponge, Yes agreed the original Mark V is slower, so it should be better for chopping. But if one is progressing toward a faster setup it is a good (but expensive) option.. Next in line would be Rakza 7. Mark V still has one of the best topsheets ever... Nothing lasts longer...
