  1. Cheap Intermediate player paddle setup recommendations

Cheap inner carbon - DHS pg5x or DHS pg301 (better feel), yinhe pro 5. Cheap outer carbon with good control - Yinhe pro 1 - meant to be like a viscaria but feel its more like Timo boll alc but with more control.
  2. Cheap Intermediate player paddle setup recommendations

Are you wanting a wood blade? Or do you want to go inner/outer carbon?
  3. The usual Backhand rubber - Something faster than C1??

I see what you mean, R7 has a lot of control and is very safe. I tried Razka x that was a bit faster but lower throw. C1 can bottom out a bit on very hard hits as its soft. I found Rozena not as spinny but didn't bottom out as much as C1.
  4. The usual Backhand rubber - Something faster than C1??

Interesting people find Razka 7 faster than c1, I found it slower than c1. C1 felt more catapult and R7 was more linear.
  5. The usual Backhand rubber - Something faster than C1??

The other rubber you can try is Rozena, more controllable and safer than Tenergy 05. I know one person uses Tenergy 19 for their backhand. C1 to me has plenty of pop, I tend to not like to much catapult, and tend to use something like D09c or G09c - as less spin sensitive and is great for...
  6. Viscaria ALC vs Fan Zhendong ALC help me decide (Dignics 09C / 05 setup)

For me the FZD alc, has a touch more control in the short game and slightly better arc. I think the thicker handle gives it slightly more stability. You can use D09c, or G09c, or Battle 2 for BH. Forehand i use 1.9 D05 and briefly tried Rozena I also have used D09c 2.1.
  7. Best blade from Butterfly, DHS or Nittaku for Dignics 09C FH + Dignics 05 BH for an intermediate-advanced player?

I agree with the above. I moved from innerforce to something more direct and with more gears. If went FZD alc as found it more controllable than viscaria, easier in short game and felt had more arc. The other blade is butterfly freitas alc, a little more dwell than FZD and a touch slower. I have...
  8. Just Butterfly Glayzer (on backhand)

I use Glayzer on the forehand, and I find it has more control in the short game over G1 and Rozena - a very balanced controllable rubber and seems to suit outercarbon blades well and not as spin sensitive like Rozena/G1. The only main negative I find for the Galyzer it has quite a long throw ...
  9. Short review of Glayzer 09c

I use the G09c on the backhand on FZD alc blade, plenty of control, not spin sensitive and reasonable speed. :)
  10. Review: Sanwei Froster Pro

How do they compare with yinhe pro 1 vs Sanwei Froster pro for - speed, spin and control ? I measured my yinhe pro 1 at about 1440 hz and my friends one at 1410 hz , yet his is slightly thicker (5.9mm vs 5.8mm) and mine a slight fishscale too it too.
  11. Struggling with G1 on FH

G1 (2.1) has quite a long throw, its easy to overshoot the table when you hit the ball hard - 1.9 version is better. I tried C1 briefly the other day on a friends bat and it was much better, I think its a shorter throw rubber and been softer its easier to engage the rubber. Go with what works...
  12. Struggling to find the right racket (offensive player)

Just tried Rozena 2.1 on forehand today - works well with pro 1. Also tried a friends pro 1 and he has Nitakku c1 (2mm) and razka xx (2 mm) very controllable on this blade too. Certainly better than D05 2.1.
  13. Struggling to find the right racket (offensive player)

I find d05 2.1 to bouncy but 1.9 better. D80 I have tried but I don't use it, I find it to fast for me on carbon blades but it does work better for me on a slower wood blade. Matching the right rubber to your blade, and your current skill level is important too.
  14. Struggling to find the right racket (offensive player)

I've have both those blades (yinhe/Innerforce). You have very fast rubber (T05) on the FH on the pro 1 - quite a bit of catapult with T05 and not the best for the short game either with outercarbon. You need slower rubber like Glayzer or Rozena on either the innerforce or pro 1. They lighter...
  15. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

And I can get the Nitakku Hammond z2 1/2 the price of Dignics or Tenergy
  16. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

The 2mm Hammond z2 have been trialling and I find its in between dignics and tenergy - it's seems to have close to the control of the dignics and the speed of the tenergy.
  17. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

Yes dignics 2.1 is harder to engage but I find 1.9 much easier on the innerforce 😊
  18. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

Great summary, I tried a lot those rubbers on the Butterfly innerforce blade, the best one was D05 (1.9) - good mix of control, spped and spin. I found tenergy 05 (2.1) to much catapult for the short or touch game maybe the 1.9 will be better.
  19. What rubbers to choose for FZD ALC

I use d09c on forehand and g09c for backhand for FZD alc.
  20. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

Let us know how it goes, it's very addictive and costly 🫣testing blades and rubbers.
