  1. Will the new female ITTF throw chopper Linda Bergstrom under the bus ?

The issue is a lot bigger than individual players. However I think almost any rubber should be allowed… With the only limitation being thickness… Cheers L-zr
  2. Why would you use short pips?

Don't worry about him he's talking rubbish... Cheers L-zr
  3. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

I have not seen any deterioration of rubbers that has been opened over time nor any degradation of any rubber that indicates any evaporating chemical substances on any used rubbers. This leads me to believe that the so called boosting is an integral part of the sponge which is permanent. Cheers...
  4. SDC Handmade Blades

Interesting head shapes... The decrease in frequency is to be expected, its like a guitar string the shorter the higher frequency at the same tension. Cheers L-zr
  5. The counterloop era?

I know I sometimes am a little bit lazy and get caught too close, still working on this... Cheers L-zr
  6. The counterloop era?

I this depend on that we often play close to the table so there is no time. At least for me I need to back a bit to be able to counter loop. Cheers L-zr

  8. Tips on analysing between points

Normally You tense during a match. I try to not give a damn about the result since I only play for fun. On top of this I try to remember to relax. What pisses me off more than anything else is if I play a bad game regardless if I win or not. Cheers L-zr
  9. Need a wood upgrade

It’s not the blade it’s the rubber. Yes I try not to stay to close. If I am successful Im OK, but whenI am drawn in close I get vulnerable. I started with Mark V to get used to the blade(s) I have two SDC blades a little different but no too much. The Mark V was definitely too slow then I...

Remember my words if you start hitting long and have to hold back. 🙂 Cheers L-zr

Great playing, I think you held back until you got your first point, but after that excellent playing. Cheers L-zr
  13. Tenergy 05 vs 05FX?

Yes in a sense this is correct but if you rubber has a lot of spin you can more easily put your own spin and “nullify” incoming spin but if you this requires hitting fairly hard.. Cheers L-zr
  14. Blades for restarting/relearning Table Tennis

I have also made this journey. I started started 45 years with a BTY primorac carbon that was given to me. I went to semi slow and soft rubbers for starters and it worked out pretty goo. Now (after ~2 years) I am playing with an off- blade with Tenergy 05 FX on both sides. This works excellent...
  15. What sponge thicknes should i use?

Generally a thinner sponge gives you a a bit more control and a thicker one more of everything else. Cheers L-zr
  16. 5-10 year old unopened Tenergy?

Then fresh air is (somewhat) circulated this will speed up the oxidation. There must be a reason why the packages are not completely sealed, maybe due to air pressure differences. Cheers L-zr
  17. SDC Handmade Blades

Holy macarony, that's a speed devil... Cheers L-zr
  18. 5-10 year old unopened Tenergy?

Less impact if the package is sealed. Cheers L-zr
  19. Dignics 05 vs Tenergy 05-FX - Which one is faster?

OK, but it's not "much faster" and there the OP has his anwer.
  20. Dignics 05 vs Tenergy 05-FX - Which one is faster?

This I seriously doubt. BTY lists T05, T05 FX and D09c as having the same speed. Hardness is NOT the same as speed. I believe the difference is minimal. Cheers L-zr
