  1. What grade of sandpaper do you recommend I use to sand down the wings on TT blade?

Grade of sandpaper to sand down wings on TT blade? Hi everyone, I'd like to sand down the wings of my Butterfly Petr Korbel JP slightly to match those of my OSP Virtuoso and Nittaku Acoustic which I find much more comfortable. What grade of sandpaper do you recommend I use? Any additional tips...
  2. Xu Xin's Equipment

Any info on if the blade will be released and when, and what it is called?
  3. Progression from Vega Pro

Any new rubber is definitely going to necessitate some adjustment. Rakza 7 Soft is quite a bit softer than Rakza 7. They can both be great BH rubbers, the Soft will help you get more lift if you need it, the regular more speed.
  4. Progression from Vega Pro

Hi Ravi, just curious, have you tried Rakza 7 on your BH?
  5. Calderano changed blades?

Just like Simon Gauzy, Hugo Calderano got 2 signature blades from Cornilleau and they both switched to them from the Gatien blade. Cornilleau Hugo Calderano Foco OFF+: http://www.cornilleau.com/produits/bois/calderano-foco/hugo-calderano-foco-off-2/ Cornilleau Hugo Calderano Foco OFF-...
  6. Looking for new Rubber on my FH

If your rubber is 1.5 years old, a new sheet of Vega Elite will help greatly!!! Start with changing your rubbers every 6 months to a year if you don't want to lose all of the speed and spin it can produce.
  7. Overall Bat/Rubber Upgrade

Definitely only change one element at a time (blade or rubber), one notch at a time (thickness, speed level...). So going up in thickness with Vega Pro is a good start, then switching to slightly faster rubbers on your current blade, or a slightly faster blade but sticking to 5-ply all-wood or...
  8. Best Yasaka rubbers?!

That's a lot of breweries for the city! Fun! The YSD is a little more of a hybrid (Chinese sticky topsheet, Euro/Japanese style sponge), not a straight Chinese rubber like H3, so maybe it could work well for you on the right blade. But if Mark V or R7S suits you the most, stay with that! And if...
  9. Best Yasaka rubbers?!

I always enjoyed visiting Kzoo and Bell's Brewery! That's too bad there's not a place where you can play more regularly out there however. I hear Danny Seemiller's club is supposed to be really nice, you can always try the lowest event category, have fun and see how you fair! I think the R7...
  10. Bug After Forum Upgrade

Works for me now on the post I mentioned after my 2 blank failed attempts to include a link. Thank you!
  11. Table Tennis Rubbers for Beginners

(I tried to post a reply twice but my message didn't show, here's another attempt!) I'd advice against any pre-made bats. The blades are almost always of poor quality, the rubbers are old stock, and such bundles are overpriced and not good to build up on. A better alternative yet cheap custom...
  12. Best Yasaka rubbers?!

My friend was buying it from TT11 and didn't seem to have problems either.
  13. Best Yasaka rubbers?!

I've read this issue from several forum members now... that really sucks. How's the replacement holding up? Hopefully they've up their QA by now. Props to Yasaka for addressing your issue and providing you with a replacement at the very least.
  14. Best Yasaka rubbers?!

YSD (Chinese-style) and R7 (Euro-Japanese) are both excellent rubbers but different in the way they play. All a matter of taste and technique! YSD requires a bit more work and is more linear, but can produce loads of spin indeed with great control!
  15. Best Yasaka rubbers?!

I'm not a big fan of the 9 and X in general, they feel really hard yet don't produce as much catapult as some of the harder rubbers from other manufacturers. I think the 7 (and 7 Soft) is a great rubber, not too hard not too soft, capable of a lot of spin with lots of control. I might actually...
  16. Bug After Forum Upgrade

Same thing happened to me twice here: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?17263-Table-Tennis-Rubbers-for-Beginners&p=223795#post223795 Is it fixed?
  17. Searching team to play.

Nice video. You're in the white/black shirt (I assume) or in the orange?
  18. Flexible all+ - off blades?

Indeed. The blades Carl and I have listed in this thread fit this criteria. There are many others.
