Opening up the blade with thicker contact is what I would go to in a comfortable situation. Slow loop is what I would do in a tense condition. So, you can do both depending on your situation and condition. If I have to pick one, I'd take the opening up a bit more.

That's gonna be hard for your wrist, bro. Generally, h3 bs is harder than even 09C thus require more efforts and power. I know that's what you have decided but T05 for your RPB is actually better than H3 BS. T05 is easier to use, springier, and more forgiving.

Go with Koto. 5 ply with outer Koto is good to finish the point as long as your placement is good, and blocking is still good with Koto.
