  1. Does Butterfly keep the best quality blades in Japan?

Wonder if the rubber differences are because they get newer stock and the older stock is shipped out. My Japanese sourced Dignics certainly feel livelier and more responsive.
  2. New Stiga Cybershape Aura (!?)

    Why does he look AI?
  3. Where to buy golden viscaria in Tokyo?

Going to Tokyo later this month. Wondering if there are any places that sell golden viscarias or more limited butterfly blades (eg. LYJ ALC, Timo boll 70th, etc)? Will be checking out TT Kokusai but heard they just sell commercial items. Also heard that golden viscarias are more of a Chinese...
  4. Does Butterfly keep the best quality blades in Japan?

I was watching some video a while ago and forgot where but I remember the person saying that Butterfly blades in Japan are better quality than global versions because they keep the better quality blades domestically. This sounded like a rumor to me since how would one how to differentiate...
  5. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

Hugo still using HAL at WTT Incheon. Going to Korea in a month and will probably pick up all the new blades. Trying to find a place that sells TMount KTS blades too.
  6. Xiom Omega 8?

Wanted to come back and give an update. O8C still plays well after a month of playing but changing my verdict. It’s more like Rakza Z than 09c. Slower than 09c but better control. It’s also about a gram heavier. Still prefer 09C for the combination of spin and speed.
  7. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

Wondering what the different between LSS ALX Light and 36.5 ALX. Besides the weight, the specs seem similar
  8. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

Wonder why they changed the manufacturing from Korea to Germany. Their Korean made blades were always very high quality. The low weight and enlarged head size makes me think these blades are going to be pretty head heavy.
  9. Need help finding a good all to off- blade (carbon preferred)

Nittaku acoustic carbon innner g revision
  10. Harimoto seen using new butterfly rubber

Perfect. Exactly what I’m looking for. I’m going between D05 and D09c on FH currently and I think a happy medium the two would work great for me
  11. Harimoto seen using new butterfly rubber

What’s the general consensus from the advisory staff?
  12. Xiom new collection (2025)

Looks like new Hugo TMX blades are finally coming soon
  13. My handle smells bad! HELP 🤢

You don't have to sweat a lot to have bad body odor and you might just be anosmic to your own smell. Do you have wet earwax? It's a marker of whether you have the ABCC11 gene which is linked to bad body odor. Most east asians do not have this gene and thus have dry earwax and don't really have...
  14. What do your rubbers look like when you feel they need to be replaced?

I'm playing with D09C about 10-20 hrs/week. I can start seeing pimples showing on the forehand side where I hit and my balls are starting to overshoot the net. Still has grip but definitely the stickiness is gone
  15. What do your rubbers look like when you feel they need to be replaced?

Trying to get a better sense of when my rubbers might need to be replaced. I feel like I’m losing grip but they’ve only been used for 2-3 months. And in this economy, don’t feel like spending more money than necessary. Can people post what their rubbers look like when they need to be replaced?
  16. DONIC New Zhang Jike blade

Glad they actually listened to feedback and got rid of the unnecessary dragon
  17. Xiom Omega 8?

D80 doesn’t feel that hard bc the top sheet is very soft. It’s extremely fast but you get the control bc ball goes into sponge easily. D05 feels much harder and harder to control while being slower. o8p is about the speed of d05, but the responsiveness on d80 if that makes sense
  18. Xiom Omega 8?

Another setup I highly highly recommend is ZQH90 with O8C on FH and o8p on BH. It feels very fast but super controlled in a weird way. The SALC in this blade is not like the SALC in the viscaria SALC. It doesn’t project as far, but still retains the speed so your balls don’t end up off the...
