  1. ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025, 4/14-20

The serve on 9:10 was for a challenge of verticality.. would be a nice lesson for WCQ.
  2. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

I read in a youtube comment (most reliable source ever) that LSS said that he injured his forearm muscle in set 1. This would make more sense to me :)
  3. Best (simplest to use) editing software for table tennis matches?

If you want to just crop stuff from your video without a complicated UI - try Avidemux. Learning curve - learn to use the arrows, and 2-3 key combinations and you can edit a match pretty quickly (like a 15 minutes match can take you less than 15 minutes when you get used to it) If you want...
  4. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2024

What's going on with these hand switches in Frankfurt??
  5. WTT Contender Muscat 2024 28 Oct - 2 Nov

I watched Odo live in Bulgaria - and her game against choppers is super impressive. Great placement and some lethal FH shots with so much snap that you actually can not believe it's possible for her to produce such shots.
  6. Do pros push topspin serves?

I think yes. It's not impossible - the important part is to meet the ball right after the bounce. I am sure they can do this, but also pretty sure in most cases they will try to do something else to a topspin serve.
  7. Friendship battle 2 national vs provincial

Ok, yes, my bad :) Well, the logic stays mostly the same - can't say there's big difference between the Nat and the Prov versions. I play with the Nat version (unboosted) and it's either you do quality shots with good effort, or the shots are not a problem to the opponent(and still - B2 is much...
  8. Friendship battle 2 national vs provincial

The difference between B2 Nat and Prov is not very big. What's more interesting to me is that you write that you've lost top end speed.. I would say that Bat 2 Prov has great gears and a rather serious top end speed. The National version may be a liiiiitle bit faster, but not by much. So I would...
  9. Everyone's setup is easier to play than mine

I play with Friendship Battle 2 Nat 38 without booster on my FH.. When I try my collegues rackets (usually with some D09C, Blueaster A1 or whatever) I always feel like it's so much easier to do stuff with their rackets. Blocks are effortless, hitting is nice, the feeling is great.. But when I...
  10. WTT Feeder Panagyurishte, Bulgaria 2024 Sep 11-15

Watched the last two days live in the arena - some great matches! About the tournament standards - I think they even improved some things - in the beginning (before WTT) the spectators were allowed to go to the second part of the hall and there they could very often clash with the players and...
  11. Paris Olympic Games 2024

Maybe with a healthy Han Ying and Nina..
  12. Paris Olympic Games 2024

Last set.. either Truls makes a point or he loses it. I don't know how Dima felt.. but I would say he was not in any form of control of what's happening.. in the last set I mean.
  13. Paris Olympic Games 2024

Lind was really sharp. No unnecessary shots, very focused from the beginning till the end. Freitas couldn't find a stable rhythm at all. On the side note - rooting for the North Korean pair to win the XD event :)
  14. WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2024 06/11-16

I think it's the same for a lot of countries.. So everything seems balanced :D
  15. 2024 WTT Contender Zagreb, Croatia June 3-9

    T1 seems to back now.
  16. Is D09c bad for brush-looping?

As a long-time user of hard tacky rubbers I really can relate to the OP. I've been playing with Battle 2 (normal -> Prov -> Nat) for a long time. And I've also tried multiple rubbers (including D09C) and most of them do not feel the same on brush loop. I think being used to a...
  17. Who are the most powerful shake FH loopers of all time?

Chen Qi hands down. Just watch his match against Joo for example.. and that's with the old ball.
  18. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

So now we need Korea to beat China, then Taipei to beat France. Then Taipei to put Chuan as a 3rd player and basically the match that decides the Title to be between LSS and CCY :)
