It’s also a cultural thing. More than in western countries, Japanese women want to find a husband , make babies and become housewives. there was a girl at amateur level , she was training a lot as I saw her regularly where I go. She won the Tokyo open in 30yo category. Then she got married. I...

I think Hayata should play the doubles not just because of her poor record in singles (never won Chen Meng, Sun Yingsha or Wang Manyu) after all its the same for Miwa, and Hirano got only 1 (recent and amazing) win over SYS. But because she's the leftie and an excellent doubles player and 1...
  10. Tactics when your loop gets chopblocked

I think one good strategy (that i'm unable to execute because im too slow) is to move quickly to the ball and if you're able to play near the top of the bounce then so many options are available. I do the no-spin loop only because im slow to move and play the ball well its already below the table.
  11. No spin loops

its a shot that i learnt to do (often) in the 2 following specific situations: 1) playing a chopper. after I make a powerful drive to his FH, he manages to put it back with a heavy backspin shot on the table on my FH side, often going out on the FH side line. Looping against heavy backspin is...

Even if she goes , likely she gets benched most / all of the time I think For men the third spot in Olympics belong to Shinozuka or Matsushima I think because they will choose a leftie. Shinozuka seems to be the better player and has played more often doubles with Harimoto but JNT likes to...

Coach told him there were so many serves he could do for example the BH serve, but Felix didn't seem to agree, coach said, ok which serve do you want to do ? Felix...
