  2. How to be a topspin machine

If someone plays very wide to your FH, to avoid the ball coming wide to the BH then you must play wide again to the FH with side spin, Even if it goes to your BH there is a good chance there will be side spin again and the ball will be curving towards the middle reducing the distance to it - -...

  5. WTT Star Contender Lanzhou 2023

I love Félix, really brilliant so young and he was a nice challenge to MA Long. He got 2 brilliant games, but was given a beating in G5. time to remember what a 14yo Harimoto did to a younger Ma Long at Japan Open 2018 (SF) Harimoto went on to beat (an injured) ZJK in the final
  6. Best way to handle slow, high, spinny opening loop?

i make often mistakes on it, IMO the #1 source of mistake , like on many other shots, is to have both feet "stuck" on the ground and not being on the move. Often this ball is a bit shallower, so there is a need to come closer to the ball, and to make this little footstep adjustment. if not, we...

  14. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

it could be seen how having a leftie is a huge advantage for doubles. More angles and easier movement. The Japanese could be seen bumping into each other a few times in the match. The Korean pair played superbly while the Japanese made too many mistakes as the Koreans were too fast
  15. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

I'd like to watch Kihara/Harimoto WD SF. Will the same link work ? or does someone have another one ? as they are playing against the Korean pair and not a Chinese one, I'm afraid we won't be able to watch it there

  17. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

1-4 is the same verdict than at WTTC SF but it was a much better match from Hayata this time. She had this big lead in G2 5-0 then 7-4 she misses the "easy" chance ball. still 9-6 (instead of 10-5) Then its 9-11. Then Hayata took G3. We don't know how SYS would have fared under pressure if...
  18. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

thanks i managed to find by myself as well, so i could watch from G3 what to say, SYS is too strong. China wins as usual... even though Hayata put it a decent fight, even though its 1-4 as in WTTC2023 SF, she had more chances than it that match.
