If you were a grand slam champion do you really get motivated to play your best in super league? I don't think so. In my club i don't play my best against very opponent but just against those who have more than 40% chance to beat me.

Your mistake is you didn't count the chop blocks of Ma Long that doesn't land on the table. There must be some points that Ma Long tries to chop block but he failed. And in a short version that is made by H4Ks3IR, Ma Long played 5 chop block and Zhang Jike smashed 3 of them and score the point.

Zhang Jike smashed so many of Ma Long's chop blocks and won many points by doing this. Ma Long chop blocks when he can't play a powerful topspin and usually gives the opponent a good ball to smash. Still looping everything is the most effective style.

Xu Xin is compare able with Ma Long and i think we have to add him to be a nominees of the best player. He hasn't been great in world tours like Ma Long but has improved his technique a lot. He has won a World Cup like Ma Long. He was not as good as Ma Long and Zhang Jike in the past but his...

I think it's better that there be a commentator but just analysis the technique and tactics in the match.

Xu Xin makes those mistakes because playing near the table is not his game. His game is looping and counter looping away from the table but still playing close to the table has enough advantages to cover those mistakes of Xu Xin.

I prefer his original style to watch instead of watching him playing close to the table because now the rallies are not as long as before and he does not uses his side spin loops anymore. Playing close ti the table is more effective but boring to watch.
