Is humidity bad for plastic balls? I doubt it. I'm pretty sure the dust is for die release.

They can make machines that can brush hundreds of balls at a time on a continuous basis. So the cost per ball would be negligible.

So I get that when they manufacture the balls they need the dust or chalk for die release when the balls are formed. Why would it be so hard to add a process to the end of the line to brush off that dust before it ships? It would be a very simple machine with huge roller brushes that cleans up...

I wouldn't say that. It last much longer than Dragon Grip. When it starts to wear the performance doesn't drop off a cliff but rather ramp down slowly.

That's exactly my experience with Stiga Dragon Grip. Seems like they are similar formulations. Try K3 or Omega VII.
