  1. ITTF Korean Open 2019

I didn't watch the game, i was training at the TT club. But when i came out, i checked the score, it was 11-11 in the 7th. I was like "wow, how did she make it that far, but I'm sure she's gonna lose, she's cursed..." LOL. I hope it will give Kasumi some courage for next time

love the Zeio's subtitles .... especially CHEN Meng's interview this time LOL
  3. Dignics 05 vs Tenergy 05 | With Timo Boll

however stupid you say it is, the numbers given by Butterfly at least enables one to compare all Butterfly products within each other, whatever the unit is. Fortunately no one needs an engineer degree to play Table tennis
  4. A Chinese amateur Looking for friends to play with in Paris

www.gossima.fr this is not a TT venue, its the TT bar owned by Jean-Philippe Gatien and friends there are mostly beer-TT players, but sometimes serious players come there. Not a lot of space though

  6. ITTF Korean Open 2019

HAYATA lost 2-4. I don't know what changed after 2-2. but LSW suddenly was more in control. After all she's the WC. Still a great performance and really great shots even at the end of the match from HAYATA. My feeling is still the same as above. She has all the shots but not the consistency. She...
  7. ITTF Korean Open 2019

its really very high level. The JNT can't watch this without thinking they're making a mistake to leave her out

  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

@ttmonster actually I'm not demotivated, I'm realistic. I agree with you, the gap in level is huge. Its only the 1st time i made a full match with him in 6 or so coaching sessions. given the score it took only 10 minutes out of the 2 hours. We did drill a lot of matchplay situations: for...
  10. ITTF Korean Open 2019

sorry the bad english this is all relative to the top CNT players.
  11. ITTF Korean Open 2019

Hayata BH is on par with the Chinese or even above in terms of speed and spin. Maybe she's not as consistent YET. Her FH is also very good, much more powerful than Hirano or Ishikawa. She's really got better in serve/receive as well. I would see mental game and consistency is what she needs to...

I'm sure HAYATA will give a decent challenge to LIU Shiwen.
  13. ITTF Korean Open 2019

there is just too much competition in the JNT Maybe Yui Hamamoto just started a trend and we will be seeing some young Japanese players migrating all over the world
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Today I was with coach Oya for 2 hours. We worked on what I think is one of the main weakness in my game: When the opponent serves short to my FH, whether i receive with a push or a flick, I get back WAYYYY too slowly in position. I think there is a mix of causes: my receive technique is not...
  15. ITTF Korean Open 2019

no i don't think Yoshimura is back in JNT, anyway not for the Olympics, maybe next WTTC if he is in form. Or some minor competitions like Team World Cup in November (in Tokyo)

  18. Me playing (transitioning to backhand pips)

there are plenty of videos on Youtube to learn TT basics, then you can practice with your friends. regarding FH position your right foot a little bit behind your left foot as well. FH or BH the left foot should be in front; If you mix it, you might have less power and its more difficult to...
  19. Me playing (transitioning to backhand pips)

Hi driversbeat I watched your vids First of all, I like your style, even I'm not a pips player. I like your placements and variations too. Here are some observations (++) you move really fast, and stay in movement all the time, thats really great because its the most important thing in TT, and...
  20. Help - hard and tacky BH rubber

I don't think one can say SpinArt, Tenergy 05 Hard and Dignics are slow rubbers.... to OP: i don't know your level but the 3 mentioned rubbers are very good BH rubbers to play close at the table [thats my style as well] and have the characteristic that you desire.
