  1. German Open 2019

Let's just hope that's not the start of the ZJK exit route then, even though (to me) it looks a bit that way.
  2. German Open 2019

For most people, motivation does not grow from negativity (yes, "anger is an energy", per Johnny Rotten, true, butbutbut). What's up with Ma Long these days? Is he taking the ZJK route?
  3. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Yeah. Unsafer in delicate matters, requiring more skill than most can muster; that's T05 for me, even though I'm a monster with it in powerloops and against defenders. I hope G-1 works out for you as well; it does for me.
  4. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I don't know about C-1 vs. G-1. But I do know about G-1 vs. T05 and don't consider them too similar, having played both extensively. They share a bit of feeling; deadish on very soft touch, similar in hardness. But T05 activates much earlier in the activation curve (which is not a good thing...
  5. Swedish Open 2019

Who’s to say it didn’t help the infamous duo? All we know is that even with the vocal and vehement crowd support they still lost, helped though it might or might not have.
  6. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Carbonado, so it seems. 45, it is said.
  7. Japan Women's Race to Tokyo 2020 Singles

To us believers, the Ito showed confidence and power over the soulles SYS, but the Gods of TT ruled in SYS's favor and let her escape in the first game. The Ito, she strong. We believe.
  8. Swedish Open 2019

WMY has no honour. This is known because it was shown. Great that Ito took this. It’s no revenge, no retribution, and certainly no redemption for the atrocity committed by WMY and SYS, but al least it has a little ring of justice.
  9. Swedish Open 2019

    She’s smart. She’s tough. She’s fierce.
  10. Swedish Open 2019

Us believers in the Mima and faithful members of the church of Ito never wavered. How could we! The Ito has a spotless record playing opponents with ‘Yu’ in their name on Swedish soil.
  11. Swedish Open 2019

Six ((well, five) great games followed by a poorly played decider. Still, Dima walks with his head high.
  12. DHS 301 vs Stiga infinity VPS for a beginner

Yeah. Wait a bit, develop your game further borrow a few blades at the club to find direction, and then go for boring and reliable over spectacular. If what you have is not suited at all to get going at the club, a safe(ish) allround setup to start and stick with for a good while is the...
  13. Swedish Open 2019

Yeah. Many here seem to have a linear development path extrapolated in their mind, and to benchmark against that curve. Growth and development are not linear like that. Sometimes it’s the tango, sometimes the paso doble, but there’s also periods of in-place mamba before exploding elsewhere. Or...
  14. Swedish Open 2019

Well, his current run will not last forever, I’m sure. But I’m enjoying it immensely while it lasts.
  15. Swedish Open 2019

Xu Xin out of it for a blink of time, and finding his pace again immediately. Go Xin-Xin!
  16. If Adidas P7 makes a comeback....

And, in lieu of Pat's question, Nanoflex FT48 and Hexer PG apparently don't have the exact P7 specs — but are they "close analogs", of not exact matches? (And is "irofuct" a misspelling for "product"?) I'd like to know, since (as stated) I was highly impressed with P7 a handful of years ago...
  17. Questions about gluing rubbers

My personal impression is that thinner glue layers create the stronger bond. How thin you manage, again in my experience, depend on the sponge. A highly porous sponge needs more glue to create an equal film.
  18. Swedish Open 2019

Or is Swedish feng shui especially detrimental for ZYL?
  19. Swedish Open 2019

Do you have a pointer? Jag läsa Svenska, somewhat, and would be interested. [Edit: I think http://jpersson.se/ will do the trick, whereas https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%B6rgen_Persson didn't] [2nd Edit: It won't do.]
  20. Swedish Open 2019

He went from boyish to geezerly overnight, so it seems to me. Old man eyes, suddenly. Good for the Swedish team to have this great one aboard. He probably has forgotten more TT than most will ever learn.
