Perhaps you could shoot some footage of your gameplay? You're using equipment that is targeted to advanced players, and if your skill level isn't quite there yet your mastery over it will be the limiting factor.

The Wood Explorer database lists dozens of species all referenced to as Awan, but a common theme is meranti, and looking at that ply I do think it's one of the light meranti woods (there are already four of them). If so, I think that makes it an unusually hard type of wood for tt blades. All...

I looked at http://tabletennis-reviews.com/reference/rubber-sheet-mass-size-database/ (which I find useful in these matters). It has 65g for Rakza 7 2.0 (0.228 g/cm2, 1.8 is not listed but is probably just a smitten lighter) and 63g for Vega Pro 1.8 (0.224 g/cm2).
