  1. Xu Xin's Equipment

So much inflation due to the celebrity effect I guess? I wonder how different it is from 145.
  2. World Tour Grand Finals 2018

FZD may not make it with LJK in his way. From FZD's match against Niwa, I feel that FZD's BH power is slightly inferior to LJK's. And FZD's FH-oriented style might be a disadvantage.
  3. World Tour Grand Finals 2018

Jang Woojin's morale was overwhelmed by Harimoto's. Jang's performance varied from time to time. He was close to pull a miracle.
  4. World Tour Grand Finals 2018

Poor Timo, the legend is aging. His power was just not on par with LJK's.

  7. Need Equipment Suggestions

If money not a problem, Tenergy 05 1.9mm.
  8. Butterfly Tenergy 05 HARD review

Yes, T05H behaves more like a Chinese rubber than does T05. Of course the topsheet is non-tacky, but in terms of sponge behaviour it is trending toward the Chinese hard sponge design.
  9. Xu Xin's Equipment

So jealous!! ;) I wonder if the handle is hollow like other newer Stiga blades. I hope not though.
  10. Butterfly Tenergy 05 HARD review

T05H requires a higher level of swing to open up compared to T05 as more force is needed to break in the harder sponge.
  11. Xu Xin's Equipment

Can you put up a review comparing it to some other blades?
  12. Old Chinese rubbers

Water and wipe it with my hand followed by a non-adhesive protective sheet. Works all the time.
  13. Prott.vip sells real or fake national blades?

I have never bought blades from them. But I have bought many national and provincial rubbers from them, all authentic and of high quality. Why do you want a W968?
  14. Butterfly Tenergy 05 HARD review

Update after 2nd session I played another session tonight with my T05H setup. While stepping around to launch FH loop, I felt some familiar performance between the T05H and Hurricane 3 National. When I was out of position to attack, I tried to loop using forearm with insufficient rotation of...
  15. Old Chinese rubbers

The rule for the serial number printed on the sponge is that X=0,A=1,B=2,C=3…,I=9. For example the first four letters are ADXB, it is translated into 1402. It means it was manufactured in Feb 2014. Hope it helps.
  16. Tenergy 05 Hard

5 out of 5 rating for Tenergy 05 Hard For this review, I will compare Tenergy 05 Hard (T05H) to the following rubbers I had played on my penhold ZJK ALC: Hurricane 3 National BS (H3N) 40degree Tenergy 05 (T05) MXS I play spin game most of the time and step away to mid distance for...
  17. Help on BH Rubber

Many people use T64 on BH. The pimple structure of T64 allows the ball to sink in more therefore gives you more feel and control than T05. The arc is also lower therefore it's good for blocking.
  18. Slightly soft chinese rubber?

With your budget you can get a provincial Neo Hurricane 3. You can pick 39, 40 and 41 hardness to suit your play. I used to play with 39 hardness but I find I need 40 or 41 for ABS balls.
  19. Penhold handle out of a shakehand blade ,is it possible?

I bought a Butterfly Primorac ST and cut the handle down to penhold size, sanded the wings and feels comfortable. There's no issue with comfort as long as you sand it down. The head of SH blades is usually shorter and narrower than the head of penhold blades. That means the center of gravity of...
  20. Butterfly Tenergy 05 HARD review

I play penhold, imagine how much weight I need to carry with my fingers. I knew it is heavy. That's why I use a thin Tibhar Nimbus soft on my backhand to lighten the whole setup.
