  1. PLZ HELP, Hurricane 8 or DHS NEO Skyline 3 TG3?

Can you explain why you have settled with H8 and TG3? I understand both have offer better control and consistency than the commercial Neo H3. Pick a Neo H3 provincial 39, it will beat both H3 and TG3 in control, spin and power. Passionate about TT
  2. Darker Speed 90 vs Nittaku Miyabi

Miyabi is way softer than Speed 90. Also Miyabi is 9mm thick. Speed 90 is usually 10.5mm thick. So Speed 90 has way more reservoir of power far from the table. Passionate about TT
  3. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

XX keeps on losing is because he doesn't stay close to the table enough. Wang Hao, although loops on both wings, he usually stayed close to the table compared to XX. If you look at WH's game, he won a lot of points with BH smash. If XX can inherit Ma Lin's ghost serve and unpredictable short...
  4. Chinese Pro Equipment - Rubbers and Blades

Hi Would be able to tell me the difference: http://www.prott.vip/Product-Details.aspx?productcode=ProvinicalblueN022 And http://www.prott.vip/Product-Details.aspx?productcode=NEOH3provincialblue For the No.22 sponge I will apply booster. After that is there anything different between the...
  5. Changing from shakehand to penhold(blade change)

Yeah PG7 is actually one of the most popular among the PG series. It's supposed to play similarly to HH2. I have never tried. For the price and numerous reviews I am sure it's a good blade. Passionate about TT
  6. Changing from shakehand to penhold(blade change)

I am using Hurricane Hao 2. It's specifically designed for modern penholder. It's a 5-ply wooden blade. But it's quite fast. Enough power for hitting close to the table. Enough power for looping at mid distance. Lacking power when far from table. It goes particularly well with Chinese tacky...
  7. Changing from shakehand to penhold(blade change)

Wang Hao tutorial with sub. If he wants to learn the modern RPB he must watch it. Passionate about TT
  8. Using Chinese rubbers for the first time

In general, H3 lasts longer than Tenergy and costs half the price. I have played both. Passionate about TT
  9. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

Haha I can relate to that. After many attempts you tend to know what works for your style. Passionate about TT
  10. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

Stick to what is natural to you. Ma Lin in late stage of career still beat up a lot of stronger younger players with TPB. Passionate about TT
  11. Sanwei Fextra and Dynamo Blades!

The craftsmanship seems pretty good for this price. I would love to try the Fextra. Have you tried any other rubber on it apart from 999 National? Passionate about TT
  12. Polish Open 2017

Yup he is the last traditional penholder at the international stage. I am so pleased to watch his game every time. Passionate about TT
  13. Using Chinese rubbers for the first time

Ok i agree commercial cheap H3 might degrade fast. In my experience: A $20 commercial H3 can last for 6 months. A $40 provincial H3 can last 12 months plus better control and feel during the use. If you can afford I always recommend provincial H3. Passionate about TT
  14. Using Chinese rubbers for the first time

Neo TG3 black if you want to play safe. Neo H3 if you want to play aggressive. No boosting, but takes a few sessions to "break in" the sponge. Both have very high control but require good amount of strength to produce deadly spin. Passionate about TT
  15. Which is the best blade for chinese rubber?

I agree too. A piece of H3 provincial costs half the price of Tenergy yet can do everything Tenergy can do. In aspects, H3 surpasses Tenergy. But different people prefer different rubbers for their style. Passionate about TT
  16. Backhand - Best Chinese Rubber (non tensor)

Go for H3 provincial 37-38 degree. You can find it here http://www.prott.vip/Product-Details.aspx?productcode=NEOH3provincialOrange Leave the neo layer to dry before putting 2 layers of booster oil. Alternatively, H3-50 37 degree is also a good BH rubber. But it's slower than H3 provincial at...
  17. Which is the best blade for chinese rubber?

Yeah I agree. Same for T05 can go with any blades depending on the a person's style and level. Although TG2 BS is significantly harder to play than H3 BS tho. Only XX's strong looping stroke can unleash the power of TG2 Passionate about TT
  18. Which is the best blade for chinese rubber?

I think XX used TG2. Passionate about TT
  19. Which is the best blade for chinese rubber?

Simply put, T05 is the king in the non-tacky kingdom. H3 (boosted) is the king in the tacky kingdom. But if your stroke and techniques are good enough, your game is generally better with H3 than with any Tenergy. Passionate about TT
  20. Hello

I too have little kids. I find it hard to improve my game. I can't put in as much time as those in early 20s. But hey nothing is impossible. I started home gym about 2 years ago. So i can squeeze time out after putting the kids to bed. I focus on footwork training - lateral jump, squat, jump...
