So it turns out Yang Xiaoxin is using the Ghenghaida FLOOD on her forehand. Her version with the dark purple sponge appears to only be available in China as far as I can tell, and I don't have a Taobao account so I don't have any more information. Doo Hoi Kem's blade looks like a butterfly...

Yang Xiaoxin switches to Grass D. Tecs. I also noticed her FH sponge was dark purple, like Hybrid K2 Pro ir MK Pro. I wonder if she's getting ready to switch sponsorship.

After being held up in customs for a month, my Nittaku Movingaero just arrived. I'm a size 9 (in sneakers) and ordered a 27.0 and they fit perfectly. I have slightly wide feet as well so I had been buying 27.5 from Mizuno and Asics. I will play with them tomorrow and give my impressions after.

Sora digs deep for 2-1. He started just pushing Liang's serve back instead of ripping winners like the end of game 2 and I think that helped.

He's lost to Matsushima, Rassenfosse, Bardet, Calderano, Harimoto and Duda in the past calendar year.

Sora takes the first game. Wang making Liang the last player was certainly a choice. And Wang already had to call a time out lol.

Hayata loses the first game... Cha Su Yong has been unexpectedly strong.

Three five set matches, and Kim takes the first game against Miwa. This is great stuff. Now this match is going 5 games as well. More errors from Kim and Miwa has stepped away and slowed down a bit so Kim can't use her pace against her.

Great spot! I never would have thought of this blade.

New custom blade for Kim Kum Yong?

We really have a top 10 level player we get to see play only once or twice a year...

I also just use scalpels now. However, cutting pips with scalpels is a very unpleasant experience. Think I might buy some Japanese angled scissors with shorter blades because navigating the handle is always a pain in the ass.

Yang Xiaoxin is returning to competition after having her baby :):):) It also appears they let her protect her rank as she's listed at 21 in the seedings.

Went back to my Goriki with an old sheet of H37 Neo 3 that I hadn't used in maybe one or two years, and a new sheet of Super Do Knuckle in 1.0mm and proceeded to have one of my best nights ever. I am once again being shown that even at the ~2000 level, putting the ball on the table with a decent...

You can judge the composition here yourself.

Noticed both Miwa and Diaz went back to Dignics A good reminder you don't always need the latest and greatest.

He was using DNA in Macao... But does appear to have switched to Xiom If you zoom all the way the in you can make out the C and the 0? at the end which would point to it being C55.0

Adam mentioning you have to keep the palm flat unless you're Natalia Partyka was wild.

No idea what Zhou Qihao is using here. Just noticing this now, but Yuan Jianan switched from Spectol -> VO 103. This photo is a from a couple months ago, but you can see the code 117-014. Can't remember if I posted this already but Shan Xiaona has switched equipment again (this has to be a...
