  1. The elements of a perfect forehand attack

I mean...look at Quadri Aruna's FH or in earlier time at Kalinikos Kreanga's FH or BH motion :P Many people will say their technique should not work...but it works/worked :P
  2. What is talent in table tennis?

In my opinion....talent is simply ability for someone to learn/understand a certain thing faster than most people do....whether it is sport, trade, etc. Either by having appropriate physical tools (dexterity, agility, hand-eye coordination) or mental ( patience, analytic mind, deduction...
  3. DISRUPTIVE LONG PIMPLES CLOSE TO THE TABLE

In that case, buy the cheapest one imaginable and similarly cheap 5-ply all-wood blade (Kirin K2 seems to be popular choice) and...play :P
  4. Hello from China

Hello :) Greetings from Poland, then. I hope to one day travel to China and Japan and play with some locals there. I ALSO have my BH better than FH, so...hey :D. Hope you enjoy your time here and have great chats with everyone.
  5. DISRUPTIVE LONG PIMPLES CLOSE TO THE TABLE

...Yinhe Neptune, in my opinion xD Very cheap and on 5 ply all-wood blade with 0.7 mm sponge version, great for practising chopping and pushing if you want to learn or play for fun :)
  6. DISRUPTIVE LONG PIMPLES CLOSE TO THE TABLE

Yinhe Neptune 1 is worst one in your opinion ? I use it on my all-wood 5-ply blade and close to table and in my opinion they work great. Great control for pushing and chop-blocking. Not to mention 0.7 mm version, for me at least, is good for classic defense. Although it depends a lot on the...
  7. Best possible setup for the least amount of money

If the racket is intended for a beginner, then I would not get a carbon blade. That is why I did not recommend Kirin K1 blade which HAS carbon in it but K2 all-wood instead.
  8. Best possible setup for the least amount of money

if you want to be absolutely on the cheap from Ali Loki Kirin K2 blade. All-wood 5-ply (28 PLN so.... 6.5 EUR) 2 x Yinhe Mercury 2 Mid-Hard (24 PLN so.... 5.5 EUR x 2 = 11 EUR) 17.5 EUR or 134 RMB in total
  9. Comparing BF Tenergy 25-FX (1.7mm) vs. Nittaku Fastarc C-1 (1.8mm)

Don't know if my opinion will bring anything since I played with C-1 2.0 mm on my FH side and S-1 2.0 on my BH side when I was using Stiga Azalea Offensive all-wood blade, not 1.8 mm. For me FH using C-1 on that specific blade felt safe...it is not super fast but in my opinion S-1 is more linear...
  10. Yinhe pluto

If you wish to try short pips, try Yinhe Uranus :) As others said above, Pluto is a medium pips, longer than Uranus but shorter than Neptune.
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Was cleaning my drawer the other day and....WOW. What about a blast from the past :) 1.8 mm if I remember correctly....doubt anyone, even youngsters play with those sponge thicknesses anymore...Wish they could make 1-colour exclusive rubbers still.
  12. Help needed for a FH rubber

Hmmm.... Double Fish Volant Phoenix 1 ? (39 degrees chinese scale, so about 50-degrees in european scale) Cheap, hybrid, not too much catapult, tacky :) I use it on my outer VC blade and it feels great.
  13. Post your latest EJ purchase

My second SDC blade from Sergio :) A defensive blade, wondered how this combination of wood would go for traditional defense type of play and Sergio said it would work :) spruce–pear–willow–pear–spruce According to Sergio : 94.8g - 5.1mm - 1012Hz - Balance: 2.9cm (Low/Med)...
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

No, both inverted :) FH : Double Fish Volant Phoenix 1 (39°) BH : Yinhe Moon Mid-Hard I'll glue Yinhe Neptune 0.7 LP on the defensive blalde, though.
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Finally arrived :) SDC #1159 by Sergio. Looks gorgeous and can't wait to glue the new rubbers on it next week :) It is slower than 729 Friendship Blue ALC I currently have, so perfect for my all-round/controlled attacker type of play. Have second blade already ordered for traditional defense...
  16. DHS W968 National vs W968 Gold / W968S / Q968 for intermediate player — no booster

Double Fish Volant Phoenix 1 (39 degrees).... a good hybrid and cheap :) No need for boosting that one.
  17. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Had this feeling too :) Went downwards from Andro Hexer Grip to DHS Tinarc 5 back in the day since I wanted a slower FH rubber with little catapult effect to practice my FH technique. On Hexer Grip shots just went out of the table majority of the time. People are afraid to try 'lower' end...
  18. Classic Matches

Right handed pen-holder whose son was left-handed shakehand player....how more opposite it can get ?
  19. Classic Matches

Along with Aleksandar Karakasevic, Desmond Douglas and Oh Sang Eun, those 2 are what I modeled my more all-round/controlled attacker left handed game after :D Love the old, back from the table exchanges....those big movements make it looks far better on TV.
  20. Post your latest EJ purchase
