  1. Joola Nature

So managed to have a sneaky knock at work with a colleague. Nature seems promising, think it is a tad slower and more controlled than Fextra. Very comfortable, can't wait for a proper practice hopefully next week if we come out of lockdown and into tier 1 in Herefordshire!!
  2. playing with short pips

Middle pimps are definitely more effective and weird balls if you are going to block a lot, and not attack full time. Spinlord Keiler are very easy to use. I would recommend getting 1.5mm for more nasty slow knuckle balls.
  3. playing with short pips

Force pro is definitely a better blade for pips. Long 5 is not a pips blade at all IMO!! Also read review on TT11 blog of Long 5, he is an experienced pip player.
  4. playing with short pips

Lula do you think if he likes blocking a lot and is less aggressive on smashes CLV might be better with Spinlord Keiler, a mid pimple that is better for blocking but still good on the occasional hit!
  5. Joola Nature

My guess is 6.3 or 6.4mm thick!!
  6. Joola Nature

Not had chance to try it yet?
  7. Joola Nature

What a beauty, shame I can't play for another 3 weeks at least!
  8. Joola Nature

You can have a hard yet flexy blade, as you can have a stiff yet soft blade! Very True nymose!!
  9. Joola Nature

There is a good chance I will stick with Fextra anyway, I do not like the new ABS balls and I still use Poly Joola Flash when possible. I need a faster blade for ABS Balls!
  10. Joola Nature

Fextra is only 6mm, but it is still pretty fast and pretty stiff. Ask Yogi, he had a lot of love for the fextra!!
  11. Joola Nature

I have four Sanwei Fextra's. Two are still in the sellophane.
  12. Joola Nature

Too fast for the Tenergy on fh, but not always too fast sometimes too bouncy, sometimes too much flex, sometimes too stiff for my to do spinny loops. I reckon I could use mid pips on a Primorac Carbon!!
  13. Joola Nature

SK7 was excellent looping blade for a 7 ply, trouble is I tried most of these blades with Spectol Red, not Spinlord Keiler. SK7 was actually a very nice blade TBH.
  14. Joola Nature

not really, had a rosewood one side limba other side handmade blade but it did not work somehow, was beautiful but i could not play with it too fast i think I think it might screw up my fh like koto seems too. I actually think I need to stick to Fextra or see how this Joola blade goes if its a...
  15. Joola Nature

Yoass, I was being funny or sarcastic!! ;););)
  16. Joola Nature

Who said I enjoy this, it is a tiresome trial and tribulation I put myself through every day in this search for the holy grail. ;););) A stiff hard blades one side for pips and soft and flexy the other side for reversed fh topspin. I know it is out there somewhere!! ;);););););););)
  17. Joola Nature

Bought one already as I had a voucher! I have just watched video of myself from last weekend, I thought I had played bad because my bat was too fast, but actually I was tired and moved badly and made bad decisions. So would have played not great with any bat. Based on this I am going to try...

    Timber 7 might be promising!
  19. Joola Nature

And significantly more expensive for an all wood 7 ply
  20. Joola Nature

Timber 7 might be interesting if its not too flexy? TSP Swat was very flexy for a 7 ply felt like a 5 ply to me. I could not play with a blue blade though, Gauzy 7.
